They don't have to sack them. Legislators don't even sack commissioners, that power resides with the governor. However, we are talking about the foundation of the appointment. The governor nominates them, and they have to be screened and confirmed by the House, before they can be sworn in as commissioners by the governor. They were never screened and confirmed by the Amaewhule led house, which means they are not commissioners. The constitution is clear.

Dagogo Iboroma maybe Wike’s man, who is intended for the position of the Attorney General. They want to get him in there and use him to impeach Fubara. This is very elementary and Fubara understands it very well too.

Now that Wike does not have any say in the political appointments, how can they get their man to become the Attorney General? Without a Attorney General, can they proceed with an impeachment? Fubara will either re-submit the same list or go ahead with the few who are cleared. Certainly Fubara will choose his own man as the Attorney General, no matter what the cowards come up with.

As far as I am concerned, Amaewhule and his group are cowards. They openly joined APC and we all saw it on tv. They turned around to claim that they did not join APC, seeing that their seats were legally in danger. As cowards, they are their words.

My eyes. They can't even impeach the governor. All they are doing is nonsense. There is process for impeachment of governor and so far so good, they know it's not possible.
Go and read the process for the impeachment of governor in the constitution then u will understand better if you want to learn. These wike bulldogs can't do anything to Fubara. They are only wasting their time.

The two groups should let go of grandstanding and initiate healing process in the polity.
After all, they are all thieves fighting for who will take the lion share while deceiving the public as if it is for their good.

I'm not supporting any group but, let there be peace in Rivers state so that people can go about their daily activities without fear of increased insecurity.

Do you know the meaning of a state Attorney General? They are also called commissioner for Justice.
So, you are just here fooling yourself because nothing concerns a state Attorney General with the impeachment of the state Governor.
It's the state CHIEF JUDGE that the constitution recognise as having the power to set up a committee to probe the allegations of the house of assembly towards the state governor that can lead to the governor's impeachment, and not the state attorney general (commissioner for Justice).
And mind you, if they want to impeach fubara and the state chief judge refuses to comply, they can use the National Judicial Council (NJC) headed by the CJN to either suspend or remove the state chief Judge and replace the person with their own ally who will comply to setting up the committee to probe the allegations against the governor.
