US just wants the natural/mineral resources Ukraine possess...to pay back the $350billion Biden dashed them.

Zelensky was foolish to have entered this war with Putin. YOU simply don't fight with a neighbor such as Russia. It's plain common sense. Go ask Finland, Belarus, China etc how they cope with Russia.
Before this conflict, Russia has sounded the alarm bells for long, stating it won't accept Ukraine being member of NATO (meaning missiles will be placed at his doorstep) which to me is a reasonable fear.. you now have the issue of DONBASS, these people are ethnic Russians..forget the border demarcation..if they want to leave and join their brethren like Crimea did, meet with Putin and find a way to amicably settle it
Rather you went about puffing your chest and acting all stubborn..your "allies" saw you were a useful tool and used you to cause a war.to weaken Russia and possibly exploit the situation.Three years later.. your major cities bombed, minor cities leveled and ruined, quarter of a million of your citizens dead, you've lost 1/5 of your territory.
Now your enemy..the one slapped with numerous sanctions by your "allies" is waxing stronger whilst your country is almost on life support.
Now Trump enter the scene...says no more war..

All your "allies" don run.. where's Germany, France, Denmark, UK? Those "allies" egging you on to fight? codedly supplying you with US weapons? Nowhere to be found. This same allies are now doing business with Russia.

Mr Zelensky..your country will be raped by the US and Russia. There will be no NATO membership for your country. You'll pay for the war support and rebuilding of your country. Russia will select your successor as President and all will be right in the world again .

I kinda like how Ratcliffe worded this interview. He's hopeful the matter would be resolved diplomatically and privately (and avoid further public drama that's very unnecessary). Ukraine needs those military intelligence, if not, Russia would definitely press more into the country and acquire more territory than the current 18%. And that would be devastating for the Ukrainians.

Ukraine and USA have agreement since 1994 that USA will help Ukraine in times of war. That's why Trump supplied them with weapons when he was president the first time. In fact he was impeached when he tried to ask for favor in return.

Trump is not trying to end any war, if he had the capability to end the war he would tell Russia to get out of Ukraine. Trump is telling Ukraine to give up and allow Russia to do whatever they want to them
