If that is how its done, that any one can just accuse the SP of anything with zero evidence and he will step down just like that, then we will probably have a new SP every other week.

A reasonable house would ask the senate president to step down till end of investigation too. In a way she has exposed the stark misogyny in the senate under the leadership of Akpabio . Even if her allegations are false , let the investigation be concluded before dealing with her . After all the result will be out in 1 month. Why the hasty suspension . It will be seen here and internationally as being suppressive of women .
