The political crises in Rivers State have taken a dangerous dimension as a Militant Group, Niger Delta Rescue Movement, has issued a stern warning to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and President Bola Tinubu Over the recent judgment of the Supreme Court against Rivers State including the order to stop allocations to the State.

The group warned that if the allocations are stopped, they won't fold their hands as other parts of the country are enjoying the resources from Rivers State and the Niger Delta region while the state is financially strangulated.

They further warned non-indigenes to leave the State as the turbulence may escalate terribly.

The Group also warned that if Gov Sim Fubara is impeached, there will be severe and dangerous consequences for all those involved, especially the lawmakers.

All these threats can't help anybody, Rivers state is part of Nigeria and operating under Nigerian constitution. Nobody should cajole the president or the whole nation because oil is derived from Rivers state and allow lawlessness.

A sincere reconciliation brokered by respected leaders in the Rivers state is what every lovers of peace and Rivers state should be clamouring for now and not beating drums of war.
