That first installer that gave you bill would blame you for not using the quotation he gave.
Compare his to the one you finally used and maybe you might have an idea of what caused it.

Likely to be low voltage more than any other things like high voltage or surge. With low grid voltage, more amperes will be drawn to be able to charge your battery. This will generate very high temperature , wires will melt and shorting becomes inevitable. I once had had an inverter literally catch fire from that.

1. The 220aH tubular has likely been mislabeled and isn't actually 220aH.
2. Even if it's actually 220aH, when you factor in DoD, usable energy is about the same as a 100aH lifepo4 battery
3. Lifepo4 handles 0.5c charge and discharge effortlessly, tubular is more around 0.2c
4. Lifepo4 will bounce back much better after being heavily discharged. Tubular won't.

There's no reason to buy a tubular battery in 2025. Even a cheap, Grade B lifepo4 battery is better than tubular.

LFP batteries should not Float.. you are using some default battery profile settings. Most installers dont change anything.

First Change the Setting 05 to USE..

Set your CV to 57.6V and FLV to 57.6V

Report back your findings

. the best charging voltage for a 48v 51.2v lifepo4 lithium battery is 55.2v to 56v bulk and float.

My oga, here is my observations, Cell only Heat up if Current is flowing. At 57.6V Zero current temperature will be reduced to room temperature..

This is observation of 3 years plus..

Unless you can show your own experience with how temperature increases when you float at high Voltage.

My testings shows that when current flowing is Zero, at the working range of LFP which is 3.65V to 2.5V the temperature is reduced to the room temperature.

Cells only Heat up when Charging and Discharging. Not when Current is Zero.

It's just a standard breaker box with the components mounted / fitted. Buy an empty box, install a rail and build yourself.
