The problem here is irrepairable damage! By going to the media she has diminshed the senate, her husband and her entire relationship with the Akpabios. The events she claimed consitutes harrassment were not made known to the Ethics panel neither did her husband at any point in time raise the issue with the mutual friends they shared with the Akpabios, don't you find that SUSPICIOUS?

The real question here is what type of investigation can actually confirm or disprove her case? Absence of a voice or video recording or witnesses she's at a huge disadvantage and I believe this is why seh went to the media rather than follow the chain of command or Senate bylaws!

Do me a favour. If you work in a reputable organisation and you are in a leadership role - go and do this to a lady. handle her hands and tell her you can make her happy. A man in a position of leadership should be responsible and intelligent enough not to do certain things.

The sexual assault allegation came afterward and on AriseTV. Her colleagues didn't watched the interview like we all did.

Anyone who chooses can discern that in a bid not to face sanctions by the ethics committee for her behavior during plenary, she chose to divulge the sexual assault claims.

That issue is in court because that's where she lodged it and the hearing will begin soon.

The best is to let them investigate the matter. If she is found lying, let her suffer the same fate for a man falsely accused. Any man that is sure of himself will dare her to prove herself. Look at how Fayemi immediately released a press statement to clear his name yesterday.

The lady has also been smart enough to go to the media to talk about the sexual allegations and she has played her cards well. She first told Berekete that she has been holding so many things and will say it at the appropriate time and later she went to Arise to say the things.

The issue is not whether she's manipulating anybody, but that the matter wasn't investigated and Natasha wasn't given a fair hearing.

Whether she's a manipulator or not, she deserves a fair hearing, and Akpabio cannot be the judge in this matter. Outrightly dismissing her claims gives predators more opportunity to dismiss sexual offenses. Unfortunately for you, such cases can affect anyone. If Natasha's case can be dismissed on the grounds of it lacking merit without any form of investigation, I sincerely hope that the women in your life are valued more than Natasha.

Her case cannot be handled by legislators, only the judiciary. So the case is still very much in court. And the court will give her hearing later, when she will tender her evidence to prove it.

She was suspended because of insubordination.
2 senators decamped and moved to APC which affected the sitting position of 10 senators, including Natasha.
She refused to go to her new seat. The other senators moved to their new seats.
