Another Perspective!

Dear Guv Soludo: You're 100% wrong...

Revisit the Constitution...

Again, define NOISE POLLUTION: Aeroplanes on air, Your Political Campaigns & jingoisms, Police Sirens, Announcements on Bikes, by vehicles with loud speakers 🔊, Early Morning Calls to prayers, PHCN Alarm when Dem restore power, Grinding Machines, Etc huh

The Irony: he's talking about Noise Pollution at a Market Place, Chai!

Stupid picking & chosing doesn't just cut it, dear Prof!

If I were there, I would preach on on the proviso I'm not forcing or threatening anyone! Damn It!

You sha must bring mosque, muslims into the equation.

This is South East not Southwest or North.
When did mosque start dominating in the southeast that a governor who confronts pastor with ease will find it hard to confront a Muslim

He's saying the truth

Even the Bible says there's time for everything.

When others are outside working and looking for daily bread you join them and not disturb them

God kept Sunday for religious people to worship and serve him
The pastor is also working and looking for his daily bread undecided

There is noting wrong with preaching the Word of Christ in the market. If the purveyor is truly of God.[/quote]With loud speakers? I don't think it's healthy or reasonable why not share flyers instead?

To the obidafts, everybody is evil, bad , apart from them and PO.
We can't allow you to denigrate our sons and daughters in the SW.
You abuse Baba Adeboye, Wole Soyinka, even went as far as doing the same to Doyin Okupe .

Bring it on.....I get your time today.

Churches should keep their business in church while market should keep their business at the market. Churches don’t pay tax, the market does. Church noises are not needed in a market place.

It is insane for soludo to make himself an enemy of Christ in Igbo land.

Nawaoh....we need the word of God at everywhere we found ourselves...if God created the earth through the power of his word then the word of God can be preached anywhere here on earth...we need God's word in our minds all the time to keep our minds free from wicked thoughts and actions....the only reasonable thing will be to ask him to reduce the speakers if it's too loud....wealth makes man to think he is bigger and wiser than God .but death brings man to reality that God is greater than all...
Your thinking is backwards.

The problem I have is not the preaching, everyone has freedom of speech. The problem is the loud speaker, that one I have big problem with
Re: Governor Soludo Confronts A Preacher Using Loudspeakers At An Anambra Market by IgboProgress:
With all due respect to the governor, the law should be modified to be more specific. Christian evangelism by real preachers can be done anywhere to willing listeners. It shouldn't be forced on others especially with loudspeakers. But loudspeakers could be used during emergency or to warn against danger.

Ofcourse, we know the governor means well. The noise pollution is becoming a serious issue that needs to be dealt with quickly before it gets out of hand. They should also focus on transporters, hotels, CD/music sellers, etc who use loudspeakers to promote their songs/businesses in markets.
