A lady shared a video of herself in tears, claiming she was brutally assaulted by a cab driver over an argument about the car’s air conditioning.

In the trending clip, the distressed woman, with visible injuries, recounted her ordeal. According to her, she had simply asked the driver to turn on the AC during the ride, but he refused, insisting that it would consume more fuel. The disagreement quickly escalated into a heated argument, which allegedly led to the driver physically attacking her.

"I only asked for AC, and he started shouting. Before I knew it, he hit me multiple times. I was so scared!" she sobbed.

The video has sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for the authorities to investigate and take appropriate action. However, some netizens believe her story is one-sided, questioning if there was more to the altercation. One comment read: "The driver will not just beat her up without extreme provocation. Maybe she refused to pay her fare, or there was another issue. It just can't be about AC."

While I don't support men beating women, I have legitly seen a woman slap a man repeatedly over a trivial issue...while still running her mouth.

What's the issue? It's a queue issue and the man came before the woman and disallowed her from trying to double-cross him by using the person in the front of the man as an excuse that that person allowed her to stay in the front.

The man was like: "if the person in the front allowed you to stay in front, then he has to forfeit his position for you and one person must go to the back. I've been standing for 30mins and won't tolerate being cheated."

My fellow human beings, is there anything wrong with this statement?

The lady started with "I will enter this line and there is nothing you can do... because I am even cool. Wo, me I dey mad too o. I've been talking politely at least. Come and beat me naw, since you bi woman beater."

She come enter the line. The person who allowed her just minded his business and refused to even talk.

Omo, as she entered, the argument got heated up as the main man insisted he won't allow it unless the good Samaritan forfeited his position. Na so this woman begin chochocho...like typewriter. The main man even stopped talking and she became more furious. The man just stood gigiban for the line to prevent illegal entrance. Next thing we had was TAAAWAAI. Omo, the man held himself and told her he would only respect her this once because she's a woman. Before he could finish, TAWAAAIII!

This is very common with Uber drivers these days. You'll book a ride, open the door sit down and they'll start the ride without informing you that their AC isn't functioning.

The worst part is that the fee you're paying them covers AC, yet they won't want to put it on. For me how I do this is once I enter your car and your windows are down, before you start the ride, I'll ask you right away if your AC is working, if it is switch it on, if you wan turn am to argument, I'll jejely leave your car and book another one.

As for the topic, the beating that girl received cannot be because of AC, maybe she refused to pay him or insulted him to the extent where he became violent.

Women should understand that life no be gra gra. If he had already started the ride and refused to switch it on, she should have endured till she got to her destination, then pay him and leave a one star rating for him on the app stating her complains. She could have even gone further to call Uber directly and forward his name and reg number to them for follow up.

It's not everything you run your mouth. Sometimes you act professionally in situations like this where you know you don't stand a chance should a fight break out.

One thing I don't ever do, is argue with a driver. I don't want to talk to him, I don't want him to talk to me.

- I get in and greet.
- He tells me he is starting the ride and I agree.
- We drive in silence to my destination

If I have any problem with his attitude or service rendered, I communicate via a review. I will say nothing to you, you would even be surprised I was the one that wrote such bad review, based on how I will smile and wish you a lovely day.

In some cases I spot ill-temper from the initial call and I quickly cancel, because if he hits me, people would ask what I said.

We all know this story is hogwash, no sane person will beat someone up because of AC. She should tell us what happened

No cab driver would resort to violence just simply because the woman asked for AC. She is not telling the truth. She must have insulted him heavily.
