There are two major reasons I don't believe her.

1. She's a Senator and should know that accusing someone without any evidence is just publicity, nothing will come out of it

2. She's the second wife with two more children for different men, from what I can tell, that is a big red flag, she's for the streets.

Sexual harassment is a very difficult case to crack, throwing around accusations doesn't help the next person.
I understand the need to be strict, but he someone tries to harass you and you are sure you don't have proof, it's best to let it go, this public outcry will damage her more plus the Internet doesn't forget.

Sexual harassment is determined by the recipient of the actions although some actions are off the mark.

If a girl twists a guy's nipples (and I want to assume that they have some sort of sexual relationship/ thing ongoing on), it is harassment if the guy doesn't like it and warns her off. If she twists a random guy's nipples, then it is harassment irrespective of his reaction.

Anyone can be harassed by anyone.

I am not against what you said but today the moment you hear sex harassment, do we even wait for the investigation to be carryout before we judge? Laws are not selective. You are bereft of ideas that culture and happenstance determine the definition of a crime. There are customary laws that are exclusive to tribes and some social norms are defined by the general view of the majority not by the offended or instinct.

Imagine writing a thesis on sexual harassment in Nigeria without quoting one law to back it up? That's what we call sentiments and activism.

For any male to call a child my wife there has to be a level of personal relationship, e.g neighbors, family(uncles) etc., teachers and school employees abroad are trained on code of conduct so how can such happen? Even here in 9ja, 99% of male teachers would never use that term for their female students on school premises, this is 2025 not 1980s. Admit it, you're reaching here

If a child goes to school and tells her teacher that an Uncle who visited her parents at home, called her "my wife" and the teacher who by law, is a mandatory reporter, would have a social worker involved and the girl interviewed, the social worker will be showing up at the child's home, where the parents will have to do some explanations as there is already a suspicion of child marriage in the mix, from that "playful" expression of "my wife".

This is based off from being a staff within the children social care service of a London borough.
