Accusations are not proofs and the burden of proof is on the person making the accusations because our constitution is quite clear that you are innocent until proven guilty.
Akpabio does not have to prove his innocence rather it is Natasha that have to prove that Akpabio is guilty of any accusations
Since you are a very very mumu person, it may interest you to know that Natasha was suspended because she broke senate rules and not because she made unsubstantiated accusations. Natasha is not above senate rules and that is what you and your ilk should know.

Allegations have been made against you. If you know they are false, then do the right thing: submit yourself to the Ethics Committee. Let them be the ones to come back and clear your name.

But running around on social media acting as the judge, jury, and executioner only makes you look guilty. It’s not helping your case, and your actions are only raising suspicion.

Your behavior of suspending anyone who dares to speak out against you is not going unnoticed. Nigerians are not foolish. The petition filed by a Nigerian senator alleging sexual harassment by the senate president has been dismissed.

Godswill Akpabio, one of the country’s most senior politicians, on Wednesday denied the allegations made against him by Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

The ethics committee which was mandated to look at the petition cited procedural violations and legal constraints at a hearing afterwards.


"The petition runs contrary to Senate rules and cannot be entertained," said chairman of the ethics committee senator Neda Imasuen.

He added that Uduaghan had personally signed the petition instead of having it endorsed by another individual, violating an order of the senate.

She was suspended because of misconduct in the plenary. Not because of sexual harassment accusation. What I expect your type to argue is the length of the suspension. She deserves suspension the moment she did not apologize for her misconduct. She's playing sexual harassment card to cover up and that is where your type got with. The sexual harassment case is in court and let her provide evidence and Akpabio too should prepare defense.
You people should reason well before coming to public please.

Verdict
The claim by Mr Obi that the Nigerian government was detaining Mr Kanu against a court order is factually incorrect and misleading.

This is because the Supreme Court overturned the ruling of the lower court in December 2023.

The continued detention and trial of Mr Kanu are, therefore, in compliance with the judgement of the Supreme Court.




President Tinubu, meanwhile, assumed office about seven months after the former administration of Mr Buhari had appealed and obtained the order staying the execution of the court judgement, which initially freed the IPOB leader.
