mynd1:While my father was alive, he was a teacher and later rose to becoming a principal in several secondary schs in Nigeria. He tutored and nurtured several leaders of today. Now the question goes back to you, of what use is your father and mother to the community and Nigeria at large. And this Atiku you are supporting, what positive impact does he have on his home state "Adamawa state" not to even talk of Nigeria at large. Foolish boy you are if you can't answer these my questions. |

seguno2:When? Where? Please can you share a link for me to confirm your claim? During the build up to 2023 election while Atiku was being interviewed, a lady asked her a question that, how have you being able to positively impact on people of Adamawa state since you have being in the corridors of power as Adamawa state is one of the poorest state in Nigeria, your amiable politician started stammering cos all the positive influence was just for the betterment of him and his extended family as usual for most Nigerian politicians. I await your link to where Atiku employed teacher and gave scholarship to chibok girls |

stuffs2002:1. “Accusations Are Not Proofs” • Correct, but allegations require investigation. If you truly believe in fairness, then the Senate should have launched an independent inquiry into Natasha’s claims instead of shutting her down. • Dismissing accusations without examination is just as foolish as accepting them blindly. 2. “The Burden of Proof Is on Natasha” • That’s exactly why she called for an audit. If Akpabio was clean, he should have welcomed an investigation to clear his name, rather than weaponizing Senate rules to silence her. • If she was lying, exposing her falsehoods through due process would have been the logical response. Instead, she was removed—why? 3. “Natasha Was Suspended for Breaking Senate Rules” • Which rules? Give specifics. What exactly did she violate? • The Senate has tolerated far worse breaches from others, including Akpabio himself. Yet, they reacted swiftly against her. That reeks of selective enforcement—a classic tool of suppression. • If Senate rules were sacrosanct, why didn’t they apply the same force to other senators who have made unsubstantiated claims in the past? 4. “Natasha Is Not Above Senate Rules” • No one said she was. But if rules are selectively enforced, then they are not rules—they are weapons. • If Akpabio is truly innocent, why is the Senate more interested in silencing the accuser than in proving his innocence through an open audit? • You seem more interested in defending the system than questioning its inconsistencies. You attack without reason, thinking aggression equals intelligence. It does not. Logic and consistency expose the truth. • If Natasha lied, the best response was an audit, not intimidation. • If Akpabio was clean, he should have welcomed scrutiny instead of hiding behind technicalities. • The Senate’s reaction proves they fear what an investigation might uncover. Now, before you embarrass yourself further, bring facts, not insults. Emotion doesn’t win debates—facts do.

malali:Don't be a mischief and emotional brat. She was suspended because of misconduct in the plenary. Not because of sexual harassment accusation. What I expect your type to argue is the length of the suspension. She deserves suspension the moment she did not apologise for her misconduct. She's playing sexual harassment card to cover up and that is where your type got with. The sexual harassment case is in court and let her provide evidence and Akpabio too should prepare defense. You people should reason well before coming to public please. |

stuffs2002:Recruit me? Lol. I can recruit and pay off Nigerian senators like it’s nothing. But you? You need to get your head checked—seriously. If there was a button to report people with questionable sanity, you’d be the first one flagged. A lot of people would have reported you, trust me. Akpabio cannot escape the wrath of Nigerians.....His cup is full. Mugu. |

Omoawoke:Lol. Sexual harrassment Bro. Seriously, don't mind some of the nincompoops we have as Nairalanders and even Nigerians. They tend to argue never based on fact but in support or against individuals/entities/Political Parties/ethnic group etal they like or dislike respectively. Only idiots will support Atiku because we know his serial, shameless and unprincipled opportunism he feels will make him President of an electorate he assumes is immature and can be decieved by his readiness to always dance to the gallery in pretending to be all things to all men. Here, Atiku is simply and shamelessly trying to Ingratiate himself with women without inspecting facts. Something genuinely principled and upright leaders must never do. Especially those close to 80 and should have supreme wisdom. What, for those conversant with the facts, amounts to "suppression of womens right" in Akpoti-Uduaghan's case? The simple reality is that it has been repeated millions of times that Senator Natasha was suspended for breaching Senate rules and nothing else. If Atiku is truly committed to supporting who or what is right, without the desperation to cynically profit from every situation compromising whatever shred of integrity he has, then he will see the Senate has a case for suspending the headstrong, wayward and unruly Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan who clearly seems like someone always intent to have her ways without any respect for rules, established protocols and clearly stipulated conduct guidelines of her own workplace. Nothing at all to do with her being a woman. Nigerians women are not that cowardly to the extent her fellow female senators, past and present, would not firmly stand up for her if this is a clear case of Akpoti-Uduaghan being victimised beacused she is female. They would all stand behind her and a Senate whose action, against Akpoti-Uduaghan, they are convinced is sexist. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cr52vyepp8lo The petition filed by a Nigerian senator alleging sexual harassment by the senate president has been dismissed. |

The SP is not going anywhere. At this point , the only sensible thing for Natasha to do is to apologize to the Senate while pursuing her sexual harassment claims in court . No need to be melodramatic here... malali: |

olayinka63:What misconduct? Akpabio is not her father, he’s just another senator presiding over a session, not an autocrat. She has every right to disagree with him on the Senate floor. So, where’s the “misconduct”? You’re saying Natasha submitted a sexual harassment allegation, but didn’t you mention that the matter is still in court? Isn’t Akpabio’s so-called misconduct in court too? So why suspend her pre-emptively without a fair hearing or trial? And let’s not forget, Senator Abbo, the one infamous for sexual gadgets, faced a Senate committee with Remi Tinubu during his scandal, even though it occurred outside the Senate. So, why the double standards now? Are you telling me Akpabio is above the law? If Akpabio has nothing to hide, why suspend a Kogi Central senator for 6 months? That’s 12.5% of her first tenure for a shouting match on the Senate floor. Are you serious? Go take a look at European and other African Senates, where chairs are thrown and fists fly during heated debates. Yet, no one gets suspended for that. I don’t know Natasha, but she has every right to express herself, and all Akpabio is doing is trying to silence her. The people of Kogi Central need answers: why should they go without representation for 12.5% of the first tenure? What’s the justification? Did Natasha kill someone in the Senate that we don’t know about? Akpabio is the Senate President, not the President of Nigeria or some god. Why the rush to silence her? This is pure power play, and you’ve got the audacity to defend it.

silibaba:You're just showing what a pathetic and partisan throwback you are. Is it Atiku or Buhari under discussion here? Can't you simply show adult focus by giving your opinion on the issue at hand? Only kids and immature adults engage in whataboutism to create prejudice over the topic under discussion. Besides, what is even similar in disobeying a Court order against Kanu, which Tinubu is not guilty of anyway, and a Senator breaching the rules of the Senate they work in and are duty-bound to always abide by or depart from the legislative House? If you steal from your employer and they sack you, who are going you to convincingly defend yourself to with the argument Emefiele and Yaya Bello stole also? Olodo. See also how you stand factually disgraced for being a dullard making false allegations like your God Peter Obi and Kanu who both excel at it. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/708445-fact-check-is-peter-obis-claim-about-tinubus-administration-disobeying-court-orders-on-nnamdi-kanu-correct-or-not.html?tztc=1 FACT-CHECK: Is Peter Obi’s claim about Tinubu’s administration disobeying court orders on Nnamdi Kanu correct or not? |

Nigerian politicians are not ripe for partisan politics, they will see black call it white, and clowns want to vote for such a man that can't even speak truth. Shameful. |
