I didn’t want to deny that but then I remembered the Okija shrines and Okeite. I’m forced to disagree with you my friend. Ritual killings have been a part and parcel of the ibo culture since time immemorial and it’s only that it’s been very underreported. Stories like the Gonu banana girl and Okeite happened at a period when Nigeria was still good; when the word “skull-mining” never came into existence and you’re telling me the earliest in the trade were taught by the new people just coming into the trade?
