Thanks bro. According to my source, he said it's recruitment because they have done replacement sometime last year June or July or so.

Can someone share the budget here, i think revenue generating agencies have their own different budget from the general national budget . I may be wrong tho

yeah they have their own but this year it has not been published for the the general public because last year it was on their official website. https://budgetoffice.gov.ng/index.php/resources/internal-resources/budget-documents/2025-budget

I saw an appointment letter for for level 10 and the annual salary is about 2.3m, roughly 191k monthly. It should be less than that after deductions. I don’t know if they have allowances tho

FIRS didn't issued any APL since last year. The recent issues letter is not APL but online documentation

God have mercy on us and let merit prevail in Nigeria job recruitments so that we common man can get good job too.
We have good results but we can't get job in oil and gas organization like NIMASA,DPR AND NNPC simply because we don't have any connection that can get us there.
How will this country develop?

The good thing is that these favoritism and connect syndromes cut across every region and religion.

Religion and region are not our problem but hypocrisy. I don't think Nigeria can be better for all at a time but when you are fortunate either by connect, merit or favor your own Nigeria is better.

This is not a time to weep or rant, these things have been become a norm. Keep pushing till you locate your heart desires.

I laughed when the guy said nobody has received FIRS APL since last year December.

He spoke like the Chairman of Firs. Even when people are collecting APL here and there , he was so confidence.

This is a facesless forum and you dont no who has 50G connect. You only believe what your connect told you. Do not say what you are not 100% sure of in the public, else you turn yourself to an object of ridicule in the public domain.

First people need to accept jobs in 9ja is mostly for the highest bidder or d connected. The very few exceptions 2 d rule is 'merit based' & 'miracle pikins'.

So, if u are still young, hard working or have a good result. Japa!!, yes, u fit surfer, but at least it will pay off in very short term.

If u are still in uni, try & study them STEM or medical courses. Ur objective should be focused squarely on graduating & japa!!.

This advice na for my fellow ordinary Nigerian. DO NOT HAVE THE DELUSIONS OF MERIT BASED anything JOB after graduating. ITS A JUNGLE OUT HERE.

Is this APL? These are slot candidates, the APL will be issued along with the regular recruitment that is yet to complete. They are just awaiting apl an issuance. No FIRS Apl Is issued from last year July to date.
