Bittersweetnig:
if you give me US visa free of charge!!! I will not go, the reason is because I don't joke with my freedom. If you commit traffic offense, you come be black? Us police has gotten Donald Trump's order to shoot you dead, the police will be promoted immediately, na that time you will understand that truly Nigerian police are your friend
You have said it all. I agree with you!

Many Nigerians in Nigeria are living in regrets and depression as well. Go to embassies if foreign countries and see how Nigerians are desperate to run away.

Doyin Okupe just died because of inadequate medical care in Nigeria.
Let people live wherever they want.

Classic case of the a pot calling a kettle Black.

Abike has always been out of touch with the issues affecting Nigeria.

As stated on here, If the country took care of its citizens in some way, you think they will leave for other countries?

Common Electricity, Nigeria cannot even sustain. How is it that other countries can provide relatively stable electricity to its citizens?

This is true, cleaner is even much-much better, do you know that so are dish washer, well diggers ,nanny with all sorts of insults and dehumanisation. It is better to stay in your home than to go somewhere to be dehumanised.

This is mostly applicable to Nigerians that migrated to UK via study route. UK can be frustrating, forget the fine pictures, that country was never structured to make migrants succeed, only fortunate ones with high in demand skills and physical strength succeed in UK.

Another country Nigerians always regret migrating to is Cyprus.

Avoid the below mentioned countries if you are a Nigerian that want to Japa abroad

Cyprus
South Africa
Spain
Turkey (except for buying things)
Vietnam
India
Russia
Philippines
Indonesia
Malaysia
Dubai
Lebanon
Libya
Morocco
Egypt
Why Spain? I have friends who are there and doing well.

Are you not the ones that drove them into it? Mindless fellows.
Let them continue since they want a country where their Presidents will be the one to farm for them, feed them and even think for them. Entitlement is covering their eyes, abroad will open it.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are using the life of the wealthy to judge the common man.

Those people paid for a house cash down! They can afford anything cash down in the west. But you want to use that to motivate yourself and embark on same journey?

You will learn the hardway. Otedola’s kids are doing well abroad, you try it. 🤣🤣🤣
Several Nigerians travelled out poor.
But today, they are Odogwus, balling harder than even Otedola's kids.
Don't doubt it.
Do whatever works best for you.
All way na way.
You can either take the highway, or the subway.
You too will get there someday.
If you don't wanna motivate yourself, get a room under Oshodi bridge.
Nobody gives a shit what you do.

She is wrong. When you relocate you need to be patient but remain focused. Brush up your qualifications by taking some diploma or certification trainings and you will be good. If you expect it to that flowing once you arrive, you will be disappointed.

Everywhere out of Nigeria is not abroad. Where exactly are you living and what do you do to earn over $2500 after taxes and living expenses.
Average salary in UK is £30k remove £10k for tax. Cheapest rent is £1k a month then bills cheapest another £300 a month then feeding another £300 a month. Transport cheapest is £150 a month

How much is left?

Re: Japa: Many Nigerians Abroad Living In Regrets, Depression, Abike Dabiri-erewa by Vadese1: 4:39am On Mar 10, 2025
The problem of japa is getting a better information and traveling in the right way. UAE is not just a place you travel to anyhow. If you go there on your own, it will take years for you to make any thing from it. The men who venture into this kind of journey, many of them ended up stranded. The women ended up in prostitution. However if a good company brings you to UAE, you will leave like a prince. My advice don't go this stabs countries without the help of companies bringing you.

pansophist:
Minus Russia. Your list correct.

Dubai is something else. That place has a large amount of Nigerians who are just wasting away for nothing.

No marriage, no pathways to citizenship, no good jobs, and the only way out is crime or japada (return to Naija).

But everything in life is planning. If one migrate legally, life will be good.

You can't just uproot yourself to a place where you know no one and have no desired skills and work permit and expect magic.
