I have a sister who I sponsored to Egypt, she is currently in USA courtesy of the Madam she was working for.

They made a 5 years Visa for her and today she is living in USA.

Let me tell you this modern Egypt aligns with the west more than their fellow Arabs.

No country is perfect even US but believe me Egypt is a good country, and no one should be discouraged not to enter because of some bad experiences that some people share on social media.

90% its gonna be house job work.

1- foods that you follow wife/wives ( depends on family size) prepared, you can't take from it , nah leftovers person go chop.
They are always fresh foods available in every home, so hunger is out of it

2- She won't leave the house except she is escorting her masters to market depends on car size or hilux, you go sit for boot with foodstuffs.

3- 80-90% of developing back-pain ( due to workloads)

4- All form of Domestic Abuses ( depending on the family size). You can have like 3-4 masters in the building.

5- She should be jovial with children and teaching them English. Tips go dey enter steady.

Finally for security reasons

1- not always your masters go knock before entering your room, always press recording on your phone, when you hear footsteps before the person open the door.

2- whenever you are tip by your visitors or master's husband, u need to have a recording and saved on email because your master can accuse you of stealing , within seconds police Don come and phone will be taken from you.

3- Your prayer point should always be on. Your agent and master.

I was in Cairo over a month ago on business
Many Nigerian girls are there right now doing the so called ‘work’ and they are all regretting it. None of them have good stories to tell

The work is mostly housemaid job, but the issue is that it’s like a master/slave arrangement on the part of your Nigerian sponsor, while the Egyptians treat you like thrash while u work for them

In my opinion, I’d advise her not to go there if she still wants a normal life. That job changes people

If she can't provide those things, then it's probably a house help job which might lead to her being sexually abused or exploited. She won't see this picture now so make her understand it. Go to YouTube and get videos of African girls being abused by their masters in Arab countries.


Also let her understand that when Israel attacked Lebanon late last year, Lebanese people locked their African house helps and Nannies inside their apartments in high rise buildings and ran with their families leaving those African migrants working for them as domestic staffs stranded and exposed to death as Israeli bombs rained down their buildings. It was a horror to watch.
