Fayemi, Aregbesola, Malami Set to Defect to SDP Ahead of 2027

Barring any last-minute changes, several founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are reportedly planning to leave the party for the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Among those expected to defect are Kayode Fayemi, Rauf Aregbesola, Abubakar Malami, and Abdullahi Adamu, along with a few others.

This development follows the defection of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who officially joined the SDP earlier today.

While the exact reasons for their planned defection remain unclear, there are indications that it is part of efforts to build a third-force coalition aimed at challenging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

Any day I still give it to Tinubu, when Buhari entered in 2015 and Tinubu was sideline, he never talk I'll of APC, the treated him like shit, all these idiots were running the show then , but he kept his cool because he knew his time will come, any Politicians that leave a party on whose platform he rose to power cannot be trusted.
