And you think Tinubu is sleeping? The North will only split votes. . No sensible southerners will vote for any Northerner in 2027. They will rather vote for Tinubu or Peter Obi.......and the votes will also be split in the South.....
Giving Tinubu a better chances of winning........ except the North are ready to support any other southern candidate other than Tinubu....

Lastly, most sensible politicians in the North will prefer to support Tinubu , because after his tenure , the power will easily move back to the North....... If not . The Southwest wont support any Northern candidate. .... .and the North wouldn't want that.

The perception of 2 parties coming together to form an alignment auyomatically creates that impression of strength on the minds of people that are not analytical. These politicians know a lot of Nigerians are not. He will still collapse his small support group into Atiku's project later on. Don't use Fubara's case as an example. There was an affidavit sworn to the decamping of those lawmakers in Rivers state. And that alone is enough evidence to nail them. The fact remains that they legally decamped, but the rubber stamp supreme is so corrupt and controlled by the presidency.

Nobody swears an affidavit to decamp.
In fact, an affidavit is completely useless in party defection.
It is like an candidate who neither write WAEC nor UTME swearing an affidavit to have been admitted to a
particular university and posting it online.

Such affidavit is nothing but a joke and such candidate is not considered a student by any rational mind.

There are specific steps to defect from a party, it starts with officially resigning from the current party
which the defectors did not do.

Isn't it interesting that the 27 lawmakers allegedly swore an affidavit for a process that requires no affidavit?
Who exactly require such affidavit?

What is curious is that Fubara's team while harping on affidavit in the media refuse to present the
alleged affidavit in court.
Till date, nobody has seen the said affidavit.

Bros Elrufai is intelligent no doubt but politics is different. If Kaduna becomes a standalone country today, elrufai will not win presidency. Politicians decamp to the party of an actor that has likelihood of winning. Atiku handlers will decamp to APC instead of going to meet elrufai in SDP
