Investors are willing to engage regardless of currency value, as long as policies remain consistent.

The number is over inflated, but the transparency of the administration of president Tinubu has really brought Nigerians out of the darkness of the past into info light. Can anyone show us the numbers of businesses that closed down since president Tinubu took office and the ones prior to that? It’s really unfair to add what happened before him, Nigeria collapsed before president Tinubu got in office, and most businesses saw that and left before he became president. A lifeless Nigeria was handed to president Tinubu, he resuscitated and put the country in ICU. Thank God that it’s Jagaban, Nigeria would have been packed under any other president.

How many new established business?
I tend to abstain from topics such as these but if you think over 7 million businesses emerged in this regime then I'll be right to call you a fool. The capital and maintenance costs for doing business have risen astronomically and somehow you think BAT is doing great.

Why is anybody surprised? Many small businesses can't survive the high cost of doing business in Nigeria coupled with the fact that they don't have access to loans/grants like their counterparts in developed countries. Meanwhile, all you jokers that keep saying that it's better to set up a business than to Japa, work for anyone or invest in a second passport, I hope you are seeing the results of the so-called "setting up a business in Nigeria". This is why exposure is very important. Any business that is not an essential business like food, oil etc is bound to suffer.
