Fubara, Wike In Attendance As Tinubu Hosts Governors, Ministers For Iftar by InfoGuru118(op): 10:04pm On Mar 10, 2025

Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers state, on Monday, joined other governors for iftar (breaking of fast) with President Bola Tinubu at the State House, ThisDay Nigeria reports.

Nyesom Wike, Fubara’s predecessor and minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), was also at the event.

Breaking fast with governors, ministers, security chiefs and other senior government officials is part of the annual rituals of the president.

Governors, including AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Alex Otti of Abia, Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, Hyacinth Alia of Benue, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, and Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe were at the State House for the iftar.

Other governors present include Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Umar Namadi of Jigawa, Uba Sani of Kaduna, Babagana Zulum of Borno, Abba Yusuf of Kano, Bala Muhammad of Bauchi, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra, and Monday Okpebholo of Edo.

Senior government officials at the event include Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS) to the president, ministers, and service chiefs among others.

Nice one from Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Hopefully he's steadfast with the Ramadan fast and the daily salat, at least in congregation, given his inability to recite simple surah al-fatiha (at his advanced age of 70s), which was an embarrassing public moment for him during the campaign for election.

If u see Wike as Wicked person, do you think fubara value the people of rivers state?
Fubara serve under wike and they run those corruptions together.

With the ongoing coalition, I see Fubara and Wike settling their difference and working together for the re-election of President Tinubu... President Tinubu will need all the supports of sitting governors to scale through and he wouldn't want Rivers State to be is disarray before the 2027 elections.

Fubara will return back to his Oga Wike and be loyal again. The process has already begun.

Fubara should be careful of his association to Wike and Tinubu. Tinubu is not a friend of anyone. He is only concerned about his interest and he will do anything to have it. Wike is a parasite that must be put away no matter what.
