At this rate, perhaps no aircraft is safe in the US whether commercial, private or military aircraft. People should start using train and avoid flight if you're in the US. I think something is wrong somewhere.

Oga, crash frequency can be determined by calculating the number of crashes divided by the number of flights. i.e if one aircraft crashes in every 5000 flights in one week, it is considerably less than 3 aircrafts crashing out of 100 flights in 3 months.

To break it down: 1/5000 crashes per flight in one week is less than 3/100 per flight in 3 months.

What's all this inferiority complex post about? Do some of you think or do research at all? The US has the largest air traffic system in the world, and as such, a high number of crashes are expected. You can't compare the numbers of Dangote trailer accidents, to that of Bua. You can't live in Lagos and not be stucked in traffic. In Feb 2024 there were records of around 93 crashes for just that month alone. And research has proved that over 70% of air crashes are caused by human errors.

You can’t dismiss it on the basis that they have a very busy airspace.
