Atiku was a presidential candidate in SDP in 1993 before he decided to step down for Abiola. Does that mean Atiku owns SDP too? There may be some people loyal to Tinubu in SDP, but saying he owns it is an overkill.

I don’t believe el-Rufai has the character or temper to lead a coalition, if the SDP implodes, it will be because of el-Rufai’s domineering stance and not because Tinubu made it happen.
