Nigerian Supreme Court, just like the country is progressively being mismanaged by Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis.

These two groups are destroying Nigeria for good
I fear for you honestly, you sound psycho.

Bigotry runs deep in many of you who claimed neutrality.
So only Yorubas and Hausas are responsible for the decay in the system, right?
May you receive divine healing before it's too late

It makes no sense at all! I stand my ground, disarm an assailant who is trying to kill me and use his weapon to kill him and I am sentenced to death!

What I see here is the supreme Court not trying to set a judicial precedence which will set people who kill their attackers free. They know that for the expansionist agenda to be fulfilled, they need to kill but they cannot afford for the law to back citizens if you kill them before they kill you

You be mumu.
Go and watch Arise documentary and interview on the case.

In fact, the judge said after the herdsman stabbed him in the leg, he could have just run away. The question is how? Someone languishing in pain already. See how senseless the Judge sounded. Right from time our judiciary system is fraud.
So now you’re dragging a TV station into your fake news agenda? That’s a new low. First, you push a completely made-up story, and now you’re lying about Arise TV airing some "documentary" on it? Nice try, but no one’s buying it.

Let’s be clear: The Supreme Court never gave any such ruling, and no judge made the statement you're claiming. This is just another desperate attempt to mislead people. If you have real evidence, bring it forward. Otherwise, stop spreading falsehoods just because you're upset with the system.

Consider this a warning.

Hmmm Sentencing him to death is way too harsh. Though I must say without sentiment, that Jackson should have left him alone, immediately after subduing him, rather than killing him, such act reek of premeditated murder.
lmao, what a joke, so after subduing the intruder I should leave him alone? Have you ever have an encounter with this bloodthirsty people? My guess is no, me I have, they never let things go, if they attack someone must die, and if you overpower them and take chances or try to run away he will gain ground and resume the assault, they won't let it slide someone must die, so why are you talking out of your anus, those marauders invade people's land unprovoked and without fear and kill anyone who stands in their way and I shouldn't defend myself I should run away like a coward, your way of reasoning is on par with the way chickens reason, you think like a chicken honestly.

Him and his supporters should blame devil instead.Cooked story to justify herdman killing, Has failed again,Mr Sunday and his lawyers don't have evidence to prove that the victim attempt to kill him as he is not alive to defend himself so I'm here by advising the murderer to accept his fate .

Let's have the name of the Supreme Court judge and the other judge that judged the case. Let's have their pictures also for posterity's sake.
So that they will not later start writing books about how they were Nigeria's heroes.

You can enlighten us here how this story is a fake news.

SoftSport:
Fake news!

It looks like some people are still upset about the judicial system and the outcome of the election that brought Bola Ahmed Tinubu to power. Now, they’re spreading fake news, claiming that the Supreme Court upheld a death sentence for someone named Sunday Jackson for killing an armed herdsman.

There’s absolutely no truth to this story, it’s just another attempt to stir up emotions and push a false narrative. Always double-check your sources before believing or sharing such claims.

My brother - in as much as I fully understand your position, I want to remind you sincerely of what a NORTHERN lady said who decamped from APC to join PDP before the last presidential elections- She said -

"I asked Tinubu when we met in London, what plans do you have to tackle insecurity , because my constituents are in IDP camps all over the country and I need to get an affirmation from you that you will tackle insecurity"

She said Tinubu told her - He (Tinubu) will do nothing about it because he doesn't want to get killed. Please go watch that video again!

This is why Tinubu's supreme court upheld the death sentence of Mr. Jackson

I pray one day - these herdsmen mistakenly kill a white citizen of a western nation- like US or UK, them go hail
@ogbonti

Have you got a link to the video or story, please? Kindly share.

This is justice denied as a result of corruption and prejudice. The judge that handed this sentence is a disgrace to not just the judicial system but to entire womanhood being a woman.
According to this judge, when you are attacked by a vicious enemy who's after your life, what you should do is to run, instead of defending yourself.
This dude who was served capital punishment should be given a heroic honor for his boldness in resisting and subduing a vicious enemy who could have killed him along with many others.

Nigerians get mind for civil war ? Nigerians will rather prefer to die as cowards than for them to rise up and fight for their freedom. All thanks to fear nd poverty.

What did I just read? Nigeria can never succeed to its expected status as long as this leniency to these foreigners keep existing. If I hold a gun I'd be arrested and charged for possession of firearm, but if a herdsman is in possession of a gun it alright.

The law does not know sentiment. That is why Lady Justita wears a blindfold but if we talk, people who went to google law school will start to mention us upandan and start throwing insults that expose their hollow state of mind.

Wielding a weapon, be it a pen knife or a gun is a burden on the carrier and thus, the carrier or the “holder” as at any given time has the burden of thinking with a clear head and with the law as his foremost priority. Unfortunately, most people have been indoctrinated by western movies and believe that they can do like the protagonist of such movies or believe that they can act according to the rules of the western world not realizing that even some states in America have different rules and interpretations to said rules.

I remember how they came for my head when the whole Anambra EFCC saga happened and I tried to point out from a legal standpoint but all they could summarize was “self defense”. Now we have seen the position of the law on said self defense even from the apex court of the land.

As unfortunate as the ruling might be, all we can say is “As the court pleases” and hope that the young man is given a state reprieve by way of a pardon.

We rise.
May you find yourself in a position where you must fight for your life or die, kill or get killed, in Jesus name. Amen.

Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have been leading the country and judiciary since 2015. All indices of development have gone down since 2015.

These groups put criminals in position because they lacked meritocracy
