When i was pregnant I craved for goat head(Isi Ewu), stockfish stew, roasted yam and food I will not want to eat normally and as soon as it starts, you must obey especially when you know that you can afford it.

It happens to those that took in carelessly but because of the conditions of their pregnancy, they endure the inconvenience of not affording the desired food

So pls allow women to express themselves during pregnancy even real men understands that

But the moment the child is born, you will never feel such again

..so the craving has tempted and pushed her to eat raw potatoes and slice bread

It depends on the setting. Imagine a lady who is the only girl in a family of five in which she is the first child. She is 20 years while her siblings are younger.
How can such person have cravings? Someone that would have likely hid the pregnancy from month zero to 5. Person whe go don collect better beating from the mama or papa at interval when they realized she is pregnant. How that kind person wan get craving?

I am not talking about a scenario where the lady is 37 years old working class lady who decides to get pregnant make she no lose home and away. Scenario two can have cravings. Scenario one no go even think am.

Don’t kids have cravings, even kids know that not all their demands can be met and they try to be reasonable

Trust me, even a 5 year old kid knows some demands are unrealistic! A 5 year old won’t wake you up to go buy her roasted yam for middle of the night.

Cravings exist but they can be managed and be realistic… and when reachable and available, of course they can demand for it
