If you had looked closely you would have noticed that Pierre Poilievre has been a career politician spanning 20 years without passing any bill. Is that the kind of person you think has the attributes you are describing above?

Na before I use to look at CV when assessing would-be politicians, especially those from the private sector, but not any longer. However, I am still biased towards Singapore. I don't know how they do it, but they listen to voters' concerns pretty well.

Right? I am not impressed by all those paper CVs anymore. Actions speak louder than plain sheet.

If you have worked in Nigerias private sector, you have seen some of these industry leaders up close and you have seen their feet of clay.

Not saying they won't get things done, but you will be weak when you are faced with the greed and entitlememt of some of these people within their spheres of influence.

If not for Trump showing up with his antics, the Prime Minister position was almost guaranteed for Poilievre. Well, the forthcoming federal election campaign will be interesting; an intellectual vs. an arrogant rabble-rouser vs. a flip-flopping Jagmeet Singh .

By the way, a visit to the Emergency Care department will indicate that the much vaunted Canadian healthcare system is tottering badly. For anybody who has been unlucky to experience an extended wait time at any of our hospitals, the need for a mix of public/private health care system would have been glaring.

No country's healthcare system is perfect but compared to the so called "greatest and richest country on earth", our's is 10 times better

Lol...you should read my first mention. What interest can he possibly get when he's been in politics for 20 years without passing a single bill? Dude can't be better than Carney. With Carney's CV you can see he's very competent.
