You are lying through your teeth and even Allison knows it. PSG did not sit back nor did they allow you to totally control the game like they did in France. PSG looked like they would score every time they went forward, they were grossly unlucky in front of goal. Both teams had control of the game at different stages of the game.

Your best players looked ordinary and that put a lot of pressure on your width defensively. You were hoping for another smash and grab. You guys were over confident going into today’s game at home but nothing about your performance today particularly gave you a huge advantage.

I thought Slot was careful in the final 10 minutes when PSG were spent and could barely stay on their feet. He should have pushed for the win there. Overall, this wasn’t Liverpool’s best showing.
