Even as much as I am please with this development which I have done my name modifications of recent, but that can't be said for Date of Birth modification. It is practically impossible to do it by yourself, the process is very cumbersome and most likely reserve for the NIMC official to handle it.
As I type this, I have paid 16340 for Date of Birth modification, where I was ask to get NPC attestation reference number. Went to NPC office in Uyo where I paid 5k for the attestation, only for me to input the reference number from the attestation and it keep telling me Data not found.

Dis you submit police report when you want to change your phone number I read it on their site that it's the requirement to change phone number.

Planning to go and change my dob and phone number.

This news is a big lie and false hope. The nimc portal is scrap. Once u pay and want to modify it after uploading the documents and u click submit. It would show u error,value something .both for change of name,dob,etc.its the same error message.
The portal is not working

I uploaded it on their site and paid the fee..I got a successful message in my account but it hasn't been effected on the app I used my nin on
