i didnt need to re-schedule myself the called me and told me the date to come in for my interview

The interview was pretty okay as it had to do with a date mismatch on their system which I answered with documents to show the real thing.

Also asked how long I stayed in the us the last time I visited which was for birthing and I told her, she looked up with a smirk and I immediately told her I had my email correspondence with me to show that I sent an email explaining my situation and I was told I could use the visa for birthing then.

She then said hope u know it's not allowed anymore and I answered yes and I was like I know if I have to use it for Medical's I would have to reapply again for a fresh visa even if I have a valid visa which she said correct to, visa approved.

Not sure it's a big deal, it would just be questions bout ur birth n all

Hello all, for B1/B2 visa application, is one expected to visit the consulate with documents before the interview date. Or is this pre-visit only meant for immigrant visa applications.

Kindly assist, my appointment was scheduled for March 4, we got to the embassy and were told they have system downtime, they will reschedule us, and we will get an email to that effect. It's been 24 hours, and there has been no e-mail or anything. I created a ticket, only to be replied :

"We understand that you are asking for an update concerning the cancelled appointments of March 4. You were at the embassy but you were told all appointments for the day has been cancelled. Your appointment will be marked as no show and will be able to reschedule or will be rescheduled automatically by the Embassy. Thank you. We hope this information is helpful. For more details and resources, please visit www.usvisaappt.com. Best regards, U.S. Visa and American Citizens Support Service"

I think this response is not straightforward, I cannot even reschedule my appointment anymore, so do I wait indefinitely for the embassy to reschedule me?

Hello everyone. I have a question about my upcoming visa interview in about 3months time. I filled my DS160 form around March last year and my intended travel date was August 2024 for tourism and sightseeing, however when I made payment for the visa fee and tried to book an appointment date, the earliest I could get was June 2025. My question is do I have to fill a new DS160 form since the intended travel date has passed. If yes, how do I upload it such that the DS160 application number tallies with what is on my appointment confirmation letter?

NB; I have been successfully migrated to the AVITS platform

Hi ,

This happened to my dad too on the March 4th? And he hadn’t got an email to reschedule nor can he reschedule from his account. He has opened a support ticket and they just replied saying to wait to be marked no show by the embassy so he can reschedule or wait to be automatically rescheduled.

Wondering if you have gotten any response from them?

Yea, i was to have mine on the 4th too. Got a mail 2 days later that it was rescheduled for 19th . SO pls check your email and your portal for new date.

1. I cant seem to locate the filled ds160, is there a way i can redownload it now that the site has been changed.
2. Is there any specific process for infant visa as i already have my visa (Do i need to attach it or take my passport) and is there anything different i should expect or itll be a regular interview

Hi please my aunt has an interview tomorrow in Lagos and the name on her visa appointment letter is misspelled. I have created several tickets but nothing has been done. Please any advice on what she can do or who I can call. Do you think they will allow her in
