Yes the unnecessary cackling did lose her some popularity points. Also she couldn't articulate her points coherently. You might be book smart but if you're not articulate or coherent enough, you will lose your audience! Her ever fluctuating accents and refusing to tackle tough questions especially how her administration handled the economy did her no favours at the popularity polls. I agree, her presidency would not be as disastrous as this Trump's but I don't think she would have made a spectacular president.

The Dems initially fielded Joe Biden knowing fully well that he was unfit to run. After sleepy Joe had to step down, they selected Kamala to be the flag bearer without any primaries. They deliberately refused to go through primaries because they know she can't win. They know America will rather chew sand than vote for an incoherent woman, a person of colour for that matter, they set Kamala up because they know she's the only demographic (female minority) that Trump can defeat. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories but something fishy happend between the stakeholders of both parties that got Trump the presidency.
