No wonder our brothers from the east see it as their small London. It's the prayer and dream of every igbo man/woman to visit Lagos before dying grin grin
The same lagos where millions of yorubas are living in poverty, in low paying jobs, face me I face you, under bridge. Every little corner, road demarcation has been turned to toilet, rubbish dump, open gutters where aboki cart pushers dump their refuse. How come these millions of Yorubas are not living your so called lagos dream. Abi your lagos dream means living in poverty

Simple question you cannot answer. Show me statistical data to prove your point. Try and be sensible.

Your problem is poor education or a stunted brain or both.

The article clearly states GDP (PPP), my post that you quoted clearly states GDP (PPP) and you are here talking about real and nominal making stooopid comments asking daft questions? If you don’t know what GDP (PPP) is shouldn’t you google before responding?

The only sensation is the level of dumb products of our educational system.
Again you are only dense in thinking. There is no data that shows this to be authentic. It is just a sensational headline. Try and be sensible and stop embarrassing your lineage.

But more established after TINUBU.
I know you are not happy because TINUBU name is mentioned instead of someone you love.
But that's your own headache
It was never more established after Tinubu, stop being dense. The truth here is that Lagos is even worse with Tinubu and after it. Ask you fathers who lived in Lagos in the days of yore and if they are sincere with you they will tell you how Lagos has sunk.

When I look at the bolded I just laugh at how dense you are. People like you need to be flogged once in a while every morning so that you will have sense.
Why would I have issues with Tinubu's name being mentioned? Of what use is it to me. We are in a democracy and it is pertinent that you tell the truth to power. Now in your ignorance and dense frame of mind, you assume that I am not happy because Tinubu's name is mentioned.

This is the problem I have with Nigerians, must you be a master in every subject? Is it a crime for a grown man to admit he doesn't understand one of the many sciences that we have on this earth? Is everyone a doctor, can everyone be an economist?

GDP based on PPP is an established subject in economics, some of us went to school and studied pure economics, it's not a crime for you not to understand it just the same way I don't understand the exact methodology of how a mechanical engine works!

Anyway, if you choose the path of knowledge instead of hate, go back to some of the guy you quoted posts, he explains GDP so simply that anyone with an earnest mind can understand.

Being paid for what? Study Argentina's economic crisis, then you will know this government has taken the right steps. Jonathan and Buhari were your enemies but you didn't know.
As an aside, the Nigerian economy has started growing again, it's not getting smaller

This GDP ppp, but you are too dense to read it.

You and your brother that posted the Wikipedia page, that clearly stated that Nigeria's gdp,ppp based is over a trillion dollars,

So Lagos 259 dollars gdp ppp based is not strange or out of order..they should be doing far better than that

There you go again just like I predicted. Who are your people committing suicide?
Jonathan was borrowing to pay salaries and subsidies, Buhari was not only borrowing, he was also printing money so that ignorant people like you can buy rice at #18k per bag and fuel at #180. Little did you know that you were eating your future and those of your unborn children.

You may like to read up on Argentina and Lebanon to see where Nigeria was heading before hard decisions were taken by this administration. Now, the economy is growing again and it's unlikely that Nigeria would default on its loans or go into recession at all in Tinubu's first four years. Even inflation has declined. Our global ratings are going up again.
But like I said, someone like you would never understand since you can't see beyond the next plate of food
so what is Tinubu borrowing billions of dollars every year for?

so what is Tinubu borrowing billions of dollars every year for?
For projects such as the ones below which are more sustainable and more effective than paying subsidies and propping up the naira with dollars which leads to round tripping and wild exchange rate differential
“The World Bank has today approved
three operations for a total of $1.57bn to support the
Government of Nigeria in strengthening human capital through
better health for women, children and adolescents and
building resilience to the effects of climate change such as
floods and droughts through improving dam safety and
irrigation.”
And what's more debts are being paid but not with about 90% of revenue as the case used to be
