As far as it is Nigerians who will drive on that road, it's not a waste. The money could have been stolen as well and there is nothing anybody can do about it. |

Long term vision is need to pull the nation out of her present economic mess. That road will open up many economic corridors. .It is not a misplaced priority at all. |

Charly68:Longer term than the 26 years of looting Lagosians into huge debts despite high IGR and federal allocations and PPP off balance sheet revenues, yet the place is a scamdemic water-less slum? obonujoker: The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said. A 45-year-old resident and father of three, Mr.Fatai Lamide told PUNCH HealthWise that no building in the community has toilet facilities. |

People like Shehu Sani are the main reasons Nigeria is a mess but they don't know. They provide their platforms and reputations as collateral for support to be given to crooks in government. They are easily deceived by the notion that those in Aso Rock were/are their friends. They live in the past while those they fight to defend have all moved on with squandermania in different government houses. Rev Kukah is one of them too. He boldly stated during the campaigns that he prefers Tinubu to everyone else. Kept going on and on about how the nation needs Tinubu at these critical moments. A Catholic Bishop went for a Muslim over a Catholic Knight!!! According to him, Tinubu has the "experience" to do the job!. You and I can see how beuriful the ditch that Tibubu and his truckload of experience have driven us all into.. |

chopnaira:A quarter of that sum would have completed the linking of the entire country by rail, as envisioned by Buhari. That would have had far more impact in terms of travel, tourism, logistics, business opportunities and social development. Did you read this at all ? This is much more better than a 750km road... |

This is not about 3rd term whatever. Tinubu is here to steal. Tinubu doesn't have any good thing to offer Nigerians. Same Tinubu is still borrowing money. Tinubu where is our fuel subsidy money? |

AMINDA:What is the percentage of transportation and good haulage by road vs by train? The greatest resistance to change is people's current legal behaviour and habit. Does Nigeria have time to build point to point trains, (without arteries by the way) educate people, and persuade haulage and road users to take trains irrespective of the absence of arterial connections? The answer is capital No. When a person starts off by thinking their opponent is stupid without reviewing the data, they self fulfil their utterances. Roads and their arterial connections, link people to small micro communities, Trains connect people to large significant areas ( at least at this stage) Is their something scary in lifting up the "small people" ? Why do we hate and fear the 90% so much? |

AMINDA:People world say anything to demonize a person/project. I don’t expect you guys to ever understand the impact that project when completed will have on the states being linked. Keep talking money Obasanjo and his friends wasted $16b on failed electricity projects. This project costs about half of this sum and is progressing nicely yet you all are crying. |

Agbegbaorogboye:Perhaps try and read to understand. I never said Nigeria built nothing during the oil boom. Remember Gowon said Nigeria had more money than could be spent. I said we could have done ambitious projects. I went ahead to list examples. That was the crux of my entire submission. |

AMINDA:. Shehu Sani is a begoat a total disgrace, all because of his belly and his hatred for El rufa'i, so now anything from PBAT is good. Half of annual budget to be spent on a single project, with out bidding, procurement and other due process. I can't imagine Sani aligning with such dubious act. This has nothing to do with the importance of the project. |

fixedhollies:You're very correct! They think we don't know they did these things to loot as usual, Baba Obasanjo knows their plan perfectly because when he was the President these guys were like hungry lions coming to him with frivolous proposals which he might have rejected. So he knows what they can do. |

AsgardKing:It’s people like you that have the small mind honestly. N15tn on a road in 2025? If you do not fix production and have stable policies to attract investment, a road will not perform magic to boost your economy. If you like build the most beautiful road in the world, if your production is not active then it is useless. Dubai did not start building roads when they discovered oil. They invested in more strategic ventures and the profit built the roads. We are borrowing money to build road that we cannot maintain. Hope you realize that road will require maintenance every 5-10 years and we already have highways we cannot maintain. A heavy rail line would have even made more sense. Do you know how many other things we could invest N15trillion that would bring in yields? If BAT knows one secret about how this road will bring on trillions to the economy let him tell us. Transparency is key if you want people to see your vision. |
