Good day everyone, I a trying to do a small solar set up, of 1kva 12v inverter with 100ah lithium battery with 2pcs of 400w trina solar panel.
So far here is what my research has givinge
Cworth 100ah 12v battery 300k
Panel 70k each
Inverter tasha energies 1kva 180k
I will like to know of this product are good or if there are better ones or better pricing I could go for? Thanks

I can see from this thread that cworth should be cheaper than that where get it cheaper? I should mention that I am not located in lagos I am in Osun State

Thanks
Confirm the authenticity of those panels, though. If I were you, I'd buy two 555w Jinko panels at 125k each and be sure of what I'm buying. Also, I'd look for an inverter with an 80A MPPT to get max output.

Isn't that 100ah Cworth battery supposedly sold for 177k according to the price chart someone posted here?

Also. Is the tasha energies inverter an hybrid inverter?

Yes I saw that too though still don't know how to get it at that price
The tasha is an hybrid inverter with 80 amp mppt

Was thinking of doing the module authentication from there website before accepting the delivery, for the jinko I was thinking that the transportation will be costly since it's a bigger size because I will have to transport it from lagos to osun and also it will be way pass the max pv array of the inverter which is 600 watt. the inverter is suppose to have 80ah mmpt

I can design a 500w solar system for u, just dm
samistry:
Haven't had power for more than a week now due to transmission line wahala in northern Nigeria. Even when I did, it was 2 hours light day time as Na Band D nepa put us.
Is getting the mtn lumos advisible or should I get normal solar and inverter?
I need to power laptop, phones, rechargeable fan and 40inch TV.
My budget is 400-500k

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jefferyzz(m): 7:27am On Mar 14, 2025
There's no grid supply at the moment the user got the error. N the inverter is not coming on. Just charging with panel alone. When she put it on. She got that.
mctfopt:
All these Chinese inverter tend to have similar error codes to be honest with you.

Error 05 is abnormal low input voltage. The input may be too low (90v ish) . Check the input voltage. Consider getting an AVR.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jefferyzz(m): 7:29am On Mar 14, 2025
Thanks
bbally:
04 is low battery voltage
05 is output short circuit or over temperature detected

Buy directly from Fouani they will take care of the delivery for you for orders above 250k.

However, even they charge you am sure it would be cheaper than the regular cab

Let them check for back feed...that is output supplying the input. Someone needs to run a check at location.

thanks will do but what about the issue of the max pv array of 600 watt will using 1100 watt panel not affect the inverter. i know about oversizing but hope this is not way too much

Have you already bought the inverter?

Also I don't know how an MPPT can be 12v80A and only allow 600w input.

Hello gurus, please what is the difference between 24v and 25.2v battery.i have been seeing these two quite often.

Thanks

25.6V are Lithium ion Phosphate batteries..
8S of 3.2V. Per cell

Lead acid have 2v per cell 6s in Tubular or sealed
12V x 2 is 24V

I think you're better off getting another inverter brand 80A with 600w max pv array is useless
Check for other brands. It will cost you more but it's gonna be worth it

Let her switch off the output breaker if installed or disconnect the output cables and recheck

I am not sure the wait is up to 3 months. Perhaps people who have experienced it can share their experience. But I think if you look at the prices of some of the batteries, the wait is well worth it! For instance, 25.6v 100 ah 2.5kw going for less than #390k for up to 2 units. I think the cheapest we have seen here is Joykoo from zeestone @ #520k,followed by Cworth @ #555k
