I said it!!

“The Speaker was lambasted for coming late as always. The President spent the first 10 minutes to dress him down,” a source revealed.

I hope the Assemblymen are not so stupid to not see through this. It is just a simple setup to cajole them. How can Obasa come late for a meeting with the president if not just for optics

The bottom line is that Tinubu wants to wield ultimate power in Lagos. The Governor is no more or less just a civil servant earning his salary and after 8 years, retires to a pension

The seat of Lagos gov belongs to Tinubu. All the talk of GAC or no GAC is just sakamaje. There is no GAC. There is only Tinubu and others

This man fears whenever anyone tries to go above him.

So much for a godfather.

Same person that picked interest in who became the senate president and speaker in his government is against a governor trying to do the same.

Same man that wanted Gbaja to be speaker and Ahmed Lawan as senate president but Saraki and Dogara outsmarted him.

Lagos politics is an organized setting and family like. So SanwoOlu cannot do whatever he likes, he too was hand picked.

I am not a fan of Tinubu and I don't support the scheming to remove deputies.
But a deputy governor is part of the executive. There can always be disagreements within the executive.
However, a speaker is head of the legislature, a different arm of government and should be insulated from the influence of the state governor, all things being equal.

We know this checks and balances is not for the good of the people unfortunately. If they allowed democratic institutions to grow, EVERYONE will benefit from it but they are only after selfish interests, which can go far less

What you wrote here is just nonsense. Pure nonsense. Sanwoolu influencing Lagos State Assembly members to impeach one person is pure falsehood. One person that saw himself above the Parliament and saw the Deputy Speaker and members as nobody and nothing can happen in his absence as he is not answerable to the members and independent of the governor but only answerable to the person he works for is nothing but Area boy and touts democracy.

Why has this man (Tinubu) refused to tow the exemplary path laid by the late sage, Awolowo? Why has he decided to tow the path of totalitarianism, autocratism, and agberoism?
Tinubu has turned himself into an Emperor.

To think that this is the best a supposedly sophisticated region can push forward as a leader is not only mind-boggling; it's shameful!
