Just like cooking and eating fish freshly gotten from the river or lake, compared to the frozen and stored one.

Land wey we go use take do massive agriculture for South, na we dey use build hotels, filling stations, and amusement parks or malls.

At the end of the day... Average citizens can't patronise those facilities, and food still cost anyhow.

You should have set traps...! Pests are not uncommon in farming and agriculture.

You just have to take steps to mitigate them.

I am about to eat gari in my house from cassava I farmed in 2023, and I was not even in Nigeria at the time. My boys did everything. We are still on the product and I had to give a lot of it out.

Mr man if you live in Nigeria just think of several other means of getting money….

You want to claim educated but ended up sounding like a dunce all in a bid to sound woke!
So every graduate will just trek and anywhere the person sees a bush,he claims it as his own and start farming with his hands.
He then goes to any house where he sees a rice or yam seedling for example,picks as many as possible and goes back to the land he tilled with his hands alone and start planting.
Then he leaves the farm and goes back when it's harvest time to harvest the produce.
There is of course buyers already queuing up to buy up all the harvested produce!!

People making it big in farming are people farming for others. They have this plots of land but can't farm it all because of capital. They invite you to come and join them. You pay for Labour fertilizer fuel for irrigation twice weekly and herbicides if needed on the farm. They use your labour to farm theirs, your fuel to irrigate theirs. They might buy fertilizer for themselves if the left overs from those they are farming for is not enough for their own plot. During harvest, you are invited so you won't feel cheated.

10 kg of cocoa can buy 2 bags of rice of 50kg and change go still remain.
I mean only 10kg ohh.
So u see that dirty cocoa farmer with 2 acres, 1 hectare and above, no be ur papa mate in terms of pocket deepness.
U see that ur fresh guy wey get fashion boutique, wey dey shine on a daily basis, always well dressed and smelling nice, 1 hectare cocoa harvest dey open 20 of those boutiques plus 2 cars and change go still remain.

Depends on which type of agriculture you want to engage in. Tractors are not the only equipment used in agriculture, there are many.
