Truly, it's just about selfish interest in Nigerian politics. Only few politicians in this country mean what they say...why not give us steady power first?
Go and tell your docile state governor to invest in power.

Electricity has been deregulated.

Very wasteful venture… such projects should’ve waited after economic recovery. Not a project to be done when the economy is bleeding.

What is the importance of road beside water, when we could use advanced water transportation around those areas or better still a rail system.

All d roads within the cities are totally down
Only our Mkpurumini blodas are against the enviable project.
It due to their incurable bitterness and envy of Jagaban, being a Yoruba ma.

Their position is understandable

I do not think that small minds understand the value of that project to Nigerias future with regards to travel, tourism, logistics and the vast business opportunities and social development that it will birth.
N is OK to do that without due process?

O my, these guys are incurable.

15T in 8 years!!!

MakindeHassan:
It’s people like you that have the small mind honestly. N15tn on a road in 2025? If you do not fix production and have stable policies to attract investment, a road will not perform magic to boost your economy. If you like build the most beautiful road in the world, if your production is not active then it is useless.

Dubai did not start building roads when they discovered oil. They invested in more strategic ventures and the profit built the roads. We are borrowing money to build road that we cannot maintain. Hope you realize that road will require maintenance every 5-10 years and we already have highways we cannot maintain. A heavy rail line would have even made more sense.

Do you know how many other things we could invest N15trillion that would bring in yields? If BAT knows one secret about how this road will bring on trillions to the economy let him tell us. Transparency is key if you want people to see your vision.

I don't understand the connection. Does being the presidemts son truncate his judgments or does being a president's son mean that his business associations must be failures? Are you suggesting that the president's sin cannot be or part own a company with capacity?

moshino:
And the contract was awarded to a company owned by tinubu's son, and tinubu friend's son, without due process. A brand new company that never built 10 km road previously, and without open bids from other companies. You don't see anything wrong with it?
