That's not even possible because, the first sentiment is many Igbos believe tinubu stole their turn n now that tinubu is to b ousted then it should b an Igbo so Igbos won't support obi if he plans to deputise n many obidients too


That aside, no reasonable politician will bank on any merger with obi because they know obi will want to b president too n his south east vote is on lock down and at the same time they know tinubu holds south west cos he won't make the mistake of losing Lagos n osun again

So they will look for a politician that have an Igbo appeal n can also pull weight in south south n if u ask me amaechi fits in perfectly

Obi is the worst thing to happen to PDP and the best thing to happen to APC and Tinubu .



Obi was the reason PDP has never governed Anambra .after using the courts to get into office

Obi is the first Supreme court governor .


Obi rubbished the Johnathan-Sambo presidential campaign for the SE after GEJ foolishly made him his campaign director for the SE which did not sit well with seasoned and old PDP leaders from the region. Obi even refused to disburse campaign funds and that's what contributed to voter apathy in the SE in 2015. To show how Obi mismanaged GEJ's re-election, the Buhari govt did not even arrest Obi but went after every other individual involved in the GEJ presidential campaign team.


Then Atiku lost 2019 largely because of Obi as his choice as running mate. SE PDP did not even mobolise for Atiku over his choice of Obi


Fast forward to 2023 and Obi carry him confusion to scatter votes that were meant for PDP.


No other individual has contributed more to the downfall and misfortune of the PDP than Obi

PDP wooing him now is to ensure he is caged from contesting on another platform after they deny him any slot in 2027 be it as a substantive candidate or running mate.
