Paradise (2025).

This was dangerously close to meh.... this close 👌🏿!.

I had a mini break off work this week, and i decided to jump on this because of the high praise it has been getting here, and in hindsight, i would've been totally fine, if i didn't see it at all 🤦🏿‍♂️.

I initially thought it was gonna be "White House Down" esque, but it unsurprisingly just dived into a doomsday, utopia mumble jumble, and immediately, i began to lose interest fast.

The episode one and two was solid, i give them that, they established what i thought would have been a good character arc and plot development, but it all just fell apart in from episode 3, with the plot just running into different directions with zero grip.
It all just became all too melodramatic, they basically just stole the ideas from various doomsday media before it, and tried to mix it all up, and it just came out bland. They put 90% of their cards on the table earlier on, so much so that they had no element of surprise left to hold any sort of suspense, they tried to remedy this in the last episode by throwing in one nonsensical surprise that had almost nothing to do with the story to begin with, they just did it, to elicit some kind of "wow" moment, but it was just blunt, and i was counting the minutes till i was done with the entire thing at that point.

The show runners just dragged this, long enough so they can egg out an undeserving second season, which i am near sure it is going to end in cancellation, because the plot didn't move well significantly past Episode 3, so imagine they have a second season of this horseshït

I wouldn't want to fault those who rated it, highly, because seeing it, one episode per week might have added some kind of intrigue for them, but binging it all at once, i saw the show for what it really is.....a ruse

Now, is it watchable? Yes of course, if you have 8 hours or so to kill, but will you be missing out on anything if you didn't see it....an emphatic, never been so sure in my life, NO!

I've been on a goose chase...

Wheel of Time is finally giving me the adrenaline and tension I knew it was capable of.

Bloody good third season, with beautiful battles from the first 20mins

.....I do wonder though, if I judged the first two seasons harshly; being that I already consumed the 13 books and expected a lot from Rafe Judkins.

Episode 7 is the only episode that carried the show's derriere. You could even watch it as a standalone movie and chuck the rest.

Conquest is a balanced diet

There is no sensible reason why The Batman wasn't involved in The Penguin series, so much big shït happened that should have gotten his attention. Otherwise, solid show.

Yet another solid start! To think this was such a terrible show when s1 first came out. Loved that amazon stuck with it and the team improved on the quality overtime. S2 was good but they didn't stick the landing for me. I certainly do hope they do it this time around.

Damm!!! so many new series and continuation of old series to watch, i don't even know where to start from.
On the positive side, with so many new series to watch, i think that gives me time to stay away from the season 3 of the wheel of time so i can finally focus on bingewathing the entire season 3.

I watched episode one and i can't bring myself to watch 2 and 3, lol
I don't want to have to wait week in and week out for new episodes.
Episode 1 blew me off my mind, a total 10/10 episode.
It's better to just wait and binge watch the entire season because getting to wait 7 days for new episodes is total torture for me.

Series has affected me emotionally, i am too clingy to it.

Wheel of Time S3 opens with a banger. I am enjoying every minute of it

Omo. This one tey well well. I was hooked all through. I abandoned Atlanta for this show and watched it to the end. Sad ending though
