What are our elected senators and governors doing? Why are we too silent to speak out? Must we always form that we are strong when we are not?

Our govt is so ineffective that mtn can just decided to do anything and nobody could raise an objection....


Lastly, she spoke about Lagos state smelling.... I am a Yoruba man and I am a Lagosian. The truth is; Lagos state is truly smelling.... I am not blaming the Lagos state government but I am still blaming them..... Recently I walk about and the smell I perceive in the environment is too bad.... Lagos State needs to be proactive in tackling this environmental issues....



I stand with the serving Corp member, Rita..... Nigerians need to stand behind her and support her.... The nation is suffering and we are pretending like it's fine....

Is there a state that is better administered than Lagos in Nigeria? Is there a state that doesn’t have some areas that smell? What then is the obsession with Lagos? Can’t you see all these attacks are a deliberate attempt to bring down a Yoruba state?

You explained things so well, no other needs to add much else. She is clearly in the wrong and we have seen those who always overstep boundaries, wondering into the arena of illegality, like Eze of Ajao Estate, to deride, threaten and demonize Lagos.

A Lagos that is, as you stated, the best administered and most cosmopolitan State to live in of all States in Nigeria and despite a population burden of 23 million (10% of the total population of Nigeria in her smallest state ) swollen majorly by non-indigenes.

You observation about cost of her weekly data usage is top-notch also. A corper claiming to spend 20k a week on data is an indicator of her suspect lifestyle, than anything else, when a businessman like myself, constantly online because of need to run e-marketing strategies, spends no more than 10k a week max sourcing data.

We are simply dealing with the latent hatred of Lagos, the SW and Yorubas some have been indoctrinated with from birth. Her illegal actions, breaching NYSC provision, and illogical talk all point to that reality.

Oga, Lagos has been dealing with crazy and burdensome population influx that has swollen her population from 5.5 million in 2001 to 23 million today. Show me any Nigerian State that has faced similar and come out with surpluses rather than deficits.

The rate of migration into Lagos, from other States, is ridiculous, for the smallest State in Nigeria, that would have crippled even Abuja, talk less of any other State of Nigeria.

I am surprised this did not factor into the stance you took despite wishing to convince you are Mr.Lagos and a genuinely well-meaning resident of the State.

You do not seem to understand that Lagos deserves immense credit for coping admirably and even progressively with stupendous population increase, with crazily attendant pressures such bring on the infrastructure and socio-economic consideration of any State of Nigeria talk less of the smallest State in our nation.

You claim to be a Yoruba and well-meaning Lagosian. The latter I doubt because you would not join the flawed argument of someone who is clearly an ignorant and prejudiced mischief-maker with an obvious axe to grind with Lagos.

Lagos has been nothing but exemplary managing her rapidly increasing population density burden. She has problems, understandably, but Lagos is still the best State in Nigeria, far better than whatever state of origin the NYSC corper is from, admirably coping with a burden other States would have rejected and even become violently and unwelcomingly protectionist over.

Do you think Yorubas serving outside South West don’t have issues to complain about in other states? So, why are they always targeting the South West for attacks? Why exactly?

If we go to their states and respect their people, culture, politics and environment, why is it so difficult for them to replicate the same gesture? Cross River NYSC orientation camp is in Obubra.
