27k approx out of 33k monthly fiam one trip to the supermarket for eggs. Who does that unless an ill-trained brat or a hustler making money from 'other means' youth corp service may now have denied her of temporarily?


Naturally and rightly, a commentator wondered why a youth corper is shopping at a supermarket and spending 20k on Uber if truly a sensible, responsible and humble lady living within her 33k NYSC stipend reality.


Many referred to her unreasonable expectation and disregard for clearly stated NYSC rules etc. A few, as you have done, referenced their NYSC days confirming they knew not to break NYSC rules and also accepted serving meant living within their means.

A youth Corp member claims she’s spending 20k weekly on data and you think that is right? I did my NYSC 18 years ago and as at this month, I can’t spend 20k on data in a month not to even talk about a week.

So, whatever hardship she’s going through may likely be as a result of her priorities. Again, NYSC has a set of rules for Corp members. The video she put out was in violation of those rules. NYSC members just like public servants are supposed to display political neutrality at all times. It is an act of misconduct to go against the political neutrality rule.

Finally, this is a lady that hustled her way to Lagos for service. Lagos welcomed her and she paid back with that disrespectful and insulting video. Is there a state that is better administered than Lagos in Nigeria? Is there a state that doesn’t have some areas that smell? What then is the obsession with Lagos?
