It's a job, because someone is at least paying you monthly. NYSC is not compulsory. You can decide not to go if you don't want to work in Nigeria. It's as simple as that.
When you're paying someone monthly, you can decide to practice the freedom of speech and after speech ethic if they call you terrible person. As far as NYSC guidelines are concerned, you don't have any public opinion regarding what the government does or doesn't within the 1 year.
I'm an ex-corps member and I don't think anyone will have any issues or threaten me if I such what she posted.
Since Lagos is smelling, I'd like that NYSC redeploy her to Ogoja where she's from.

This is how it folks sign contracts without reading the whole thing. NYSC has it's own code of conduct. If you can't serve, there's exemption. It's a non issue. I no be government mouth piece but we should acknowledge right and wrong without much debate.

What ate you on about? I am telling you Uber is mot only for the rich. Do not victimize the girl because she uses Uber. Nigerian have fallen below the poverty line. When you travel abroad even to other small developing nations you will get to see that Uber is not a luxury. Now, we need to first of all understand what she is doing clearly by asking if (1) shes just lament the realities of the current hardship in the country or (2) she is calling the president out for a change (telling the president to change the current governance) or (3) she's calling out for a change in government (calling the nation to change current government/president). These are different elements that can be extracted from her outburst.

For number 1, everybody (including elites on national TVs) are already doing that, there are crys of hardship off and online everywhere, opposition parties have also made the best possible use of the opportunity in speaking against the government. But Corp members are not categorized as typical civilians, and just like military and the paramilitary that they are related to in the scheme of service, corp member have codes of conducts that restricts them from interfering in governance (reason why they are always drafted for elections preferencially ) . She can be nailed with that.

For number 2; Even though futile, the right way to do it is to pen a open letter to the president with her accurate identity as a Nigerian. Otherwise, she will be regarded as a mob, and there are 100s of allegations that can be levied against her (includes treason, terrorism, defamation, harassment, threat to public something something and so on...).

For number 3: I don't think she's eligible for this as an active Corp member. However, if she must go this path, she need to form or align with an active opposition group and work within the ethics of the groups as protected by laws. Protests (which is also lawful) is also a tool that may yield results as an opposition.
