Many people don't really know the reason Islam is refered as " Esin Imale/Imole ". The earlier people refered Islam as " Esin Awon Mali " from there it was shorten to " Esin Imole " so because our Clerics/Malam/Alfas used to beat their students and some harsh from at which some clerics pass their lecture, so majority now concluded the religion is imole.

So I just tell you the reason. The Malians came into the SW through the North, while working for the Yorubas, they will excuse themselves when it is time for prayer and the people wonder what form of worship is this....
