There are over 4000 different deities out there for your knowledge and people across all beliefs and outside also have their own ideas regarding marriage. Then you have individual opinions regarding marriage to contend with. Assuming you can put two and two together, you would see how utterly foolish it becomes of you to assume that your ideas regarding marriage should be an overarching framework for every other marriage out there.

We must not enter any medical situation with the fear of dying.

I've a cousin that did 3 C-sections and she didn't shake.
While another lady who was afraid (she said she was) when going in for her 3rd delivery didn't make it, sad.
It would be unfortunate for a spouse, male or female to mismanage the deceased spouse's funds like a windfall.
No, it's not for flexing, it's for the children left behind or to stabilise business left behind and responsibilities left on going like aged parents or dependent siblings, house building project and other reasonable things.
