Akpabio is running kiti kiti because of the credibility of Natasha's allegations. He knows what he told her and he is afraid of committing perjury (lying under oath) which is a criminal offense punishable by jail if he is forced to testify in open court.

Tinubu on the other hand needs a criminally minded person such as Akpabio to remain as Senate President to prevent Tinubu's impeachment hence Tinubu's newspaper - the Nation - has now gone into overdrive trying to rubbish Natasha's private life.

This people can waste money sha, you have not exhausted all the legal remedies in your country or Africa for that matter, you are running to New York without any evidence.

I know for sure that the Senate nominates those that should go and set the Agenda for the speech and the funding is facilitated.

Those female Parliament members should also approach IPU no matter how late the event took place to report their country Parliament.

Considering myself, I would have been as guilty as proclaimed. I thank the Distinguished Senators and Honourable members of the House of Representatives for their courage to support the Senate President because the Integrity of the Institution must be protected.

She accompanied the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, to the 148th IPU General Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland in March, 2024 as part of Nigeria’s official delegation. She sat beside the Senate President. That is why I said if it were me, I would have been as guilty as pronounced. By reason of that attendance she is on the mailing list and an active Nigeria's contact person at the IPU because the SP would have assigned that role to her. She used that opportunity to register for the IPU as Nigeria's delegate without being sent by the National Assembly.

I remember Local Content deal at NNPC during Diezani Madueke's tenure as Minister when Ernest Nwapa was the Head of Local Content at NNPC. Senator Karimi's reason is not good enough. We need to check and compare all the privileges enjoyed by other female Senators to real know what is happening.

This is not comparing her to Akpabio, nor is it to say Akpabio did not ask her out, but deceiving an International body (IPU) under the pretence of Nigerian delegate should not be condoned.
IPU is open to people, but then you apply and follow due process. The privilege she has is that she has the contact email of the responsible person (through previous mails, when she was a former Nigerian delegate), amd she deceived them to get a Pass within the shorted possible time.
Let's ca a spade a spade! If she applied and attended as Individual or an organisation, she wouldn't be given that Seat she was with NIGERIA on it. That is for Delegates, and not every VIP in Nigeria who attends IPU meeting is a delegate
