Titus is now 6500 per kilo ie 2 pcs of fish.
Nigerians are really calm people and deserve what they get. Come 2027 you will see them supporting the same party that bistowed poverty on them.

Buhari started the destruction and instead of the drug man to learn from buhari's cluelessness, he came and buried the carcasses left.
APC is something that shouldn't have happened to humanity. Useless people
Obj started it, in fact the destruction started in the 70s. Has it ever gotten better since then

In 1999, a bag of rice in Nigeria typically cost between N2,000 and N2,500

kai kai kai
2014 during Goodluck Jonathan's administration it was 7500, the difference between 1999 to 2014 wasn't that bad but APC is an evil party they just wrecked our economy and country

Unfortunately, Tinubu is not on social media and his handlers have been told not to tell him the reality of Nigeria.
We'll begin the discussion when Tinubu and his crew leave the presidency.
They are hearing, he checks headlines and knows how a terrible president he is, very daft and clueless

What a shame!
OBIDIENTS saw this coming and warned y’all.

A big shame to all you impoverished mo’fvckers who ignorantly got bribed to vote Buhari and Tinubu only to suffer under their selected government.
A bigger shame to all you educated fools who wickedly did same and are now shuffering and shmiling.
The biggest shame go to most Nigerians who easily forgive and forget the trespasses of these losers ruining Nigeria.
Maybe next time, the Obidients should learn to be civil and respectfully lure people into their fold instead of doing so with insult and dirty tantrums.
It’s this same diarrhea of the mouth that led Nnamdi kunu into the mess he’s in today. He called Nigeria a zoo (which nobody is contesting) and he’s fighting for fairness which is the right fight but in the wrong and senseless ways. You don’t fight everybody, a wise man will always seek supports from others. As strong and mighty as the US, Russia and China are, they still constantly seek alliances with other countries because they know the importance of numbers and strong alliances.

Go and ask people like nairalanda1, they will say the bag of rice that cost 16k then and 75k now means nothing: they will say the proper price of a bag of rice should be around N1million.
Go and ask people like Deepsight, they will say the bag of rice that cost 16k then and 75 k now means nothing, they will say that the rice seller should give the rice to everyone for free.

Yep, I love it when good people like the above, lie.

50kg bag imported rice was around N120 under Buhari then N400 under Babangida.
Nigeria's population was 80 million in 1985 and 95 million in 1990. 180 million under Jonathan by 2015 and now estimated at 235 million under Tinubu.
Nigeria is not up to 235 million, don't defend APC incompetent leadership

Check out this receipt of goods bought some years back. Extrapolate the cost to the present day Nigeria wherein the escalating cost of same goods are beyond the reach of the common man today.
The problem with this your comment, Racoon, is that I can bring a recepit from 1991, or even from 1978, or earlier, and make the argument that PDP was running a bad government. I could also make the same argument about APC.

The fact is, we are here because the side you support and the side they support run the same kind of economy. The major difference now is that we are running out of money, hence the charade is over.

If your side was in power, you will tell us now to keep quiet.

A cow in 1981 cost N90 . A whole cow.

That 6000 naira would have bought you about 66 cows back then.

Of course under Jonathan, a cow was at least 200000 naira by then.

Maybe God should punish Jonathan and tinubu and buhari together? And Obasanjo too.

That same bag of rice cost less than 60 naira in the 1980's.

Perhaps GEJ was also as bad as t-pain too?

Or there is another cold reason why the naira is bad, and why APC and PDP are just like each other?

I do not like t-pain. He's not good.

My own anger is that when you tell people that a bag of rice was #16,000 in 2018, one RONU fool whose brain is doing overheating will reply that "16K was hard to come by then". huh huh

Now that a bag is over 80K, I guess 80K is easy to come by.

May the Almighty dash all RONU MISCREANTS some sense to see how their future is being mortgaged.

Well a bag of rice was once N400 back in 1990....

Yes, APC is a mess, but this price game is not the best way to measure our economic performance.
