I told someone I stock my fridge with 45k and they were doubting me, I begin to wonder how people buy things. First, I buy half crates of eggs at a farm for N3k, then I buy my carrot, watermelon, cucumber apples and other fruits from road side vendors, I spend like N5k for all these is far cheaper than buying in supes. I buy half carton of indomie at N5k Then two big breads at N4k Peak milk refill 3in1 at 4k Sardine and butter for 7k Soft drinks wholesale prices 4k Juice also wholesale prices 7 All of these cannot be more than 45k if u shop well Custard for 7k and this is the only thing I buy from super market and I don't buy it always because I making custard takes grace lol. Electricity bill for bandA is 10k and I have fridge, AC and a big tv. maybe cos of my busy schedule, I only stay at home from 6pm to 6am. The truth is I spend less than 100k monthly, though I haven't stocked my fridge lately but it's been like 3weeks since I stocked last

Xannadu:it works for everyone. Supermarket sells Chi exotic and N2,100 but I buy at N1,700. |

richmond500:From the makers themselves? And I doubt a lot of the figures you put there. You cannot be in band A for 12hrs a day for 1 month and spend only 10k on electricity bill. Except you switch off your fridge every time you're leaving the house and you don't use your AC. And maybe the farm you get your eggs is right beside your house so you don't have to spend fuel to drive long distance to get it "cheaper." Do the 2 big breads last you for a whole month? Your eating pattern must be 0 - 0 - 1. |

But then, you wont be in APC if you're not a pathological liar. |

Dont worry, you're going to get married and have your own 7 children, then your bill will rise to 1.3m a month and your noise will reduce, you will relocate to a corner of Bodija and buy a plastic plate and sit beside the road and ply the trade of your people. The crumbs APC pays have an expiry date. |

It depends on what you buy at the supermarket. Some products are actually cheap at the supermarket and also have good quality Perishable food items, na waste of money at the mart/mall |

sultanofpigs:if u do not buy in the farm, u can buy from wholesale that buys in bulk from the farm, u can get half crate for 3100 or 3200, them plenty. I pay only 600 to and fro from the farm cos the farm is also close to where I buy my drinks |

richmond500:You must be suffering, I sometimes top off with 3 bottles of hero beer at night after eating 1-2-1. That's why I urge you to vote right, not because I will suffer if you vote wrong but because I dont like seeing you people suffer. |

What is worth celebrating in one stocking up his fridge with 45k,a country where some workers are still on 70k or below per month. So 70k minus 45k,you get 25k left,so where will the money for transport, several bills, other logistics and in some cases ill health. You can see that it does not make any sense. This is even a calculation for a single,if he or she has a family, then it is mission impossible. It seems there is no way out for the ordinary Nigerians while the ruling class are swimming in extravagancy! |

richmond500:When I was a bachelor, I used to have different wines and juices in my fridge I buy a full crate of eggs every month and I had a girl who used to come make soups for me every weekend for a fee All these things you show are basics for a bachelor who is still upcoming bro Some bachelors enjoyed fare more than this You should get married though. 7 years as a bachelor too long |

Agbegbaorogboye:Crate of egg kwa? I buy only half crates cos I do not allow my eggs to fully deplete before I buy again. Also I buy half carton of indomie cos I do not allow my indomie to deplete before I buy again. Having wines doesn't mean anything, it's individual preference and I only said u need to stock with less amount, wines range from 4k to 20k and more. So wine was never a big deal, the post was to live frugally and not expensive |

Xannadu:u can't say u eat 1-2-1 or 011 just because u get off of work on some days. I also get days I do not go to work and I can eat 1-5-1 but that's is not my eating pattern. So u are jobless, it's not a crime, many Nigerians are jobless like u |
