I stay somewhere around kubwa here in abuja!!

Something strange happened to me that till date, I still find it difficult to comprehend.

I went to a friends place where I was staying before my own area in the location was demolished. The place has almost 24 hours light while where I packed to also have over 24 hours power outrage. Because of my remote job that requires constant light, I always go to my friends place to do my job there cos of availability of light. On this particular day, i was writing, at a point I needed to go to the toilet. My friends house is almost complete as there is no toilet yet in his house. I was closing the door when he came in from a job and saw me going out, he asked where I was going, I told him I was going to the Bush to poo, he said we should go together. There's is this cashew plantation in this said area where we go to poo. When we got there, we saw some little boys harvesting cashew, we had to move inside a bit to give them space and also for us to be comfortable pooing..we were about 20 feet apart when suddenly something dropped beside me..when it dropped, I was shocked cos it was like film to me, but I was still trying to process the whole thing because it was in the afternoon, I move from the stuff and was about going when my friend insisted that didn't I see what dropped down..that this couldn't be real..we moved closer and took a picture of it...it was a charm built like a table tennis bat. It wasn't hung on a tree, cos there were trees around the whole area..I thank God that I was with a friend that saw what happened, if not even e personally wouldn't believe what I saw! And how it happened!..

I believe two things about what happened!

I believed that the power around us overpowered the charm around there to nullify it, or the stuff is directly related to me and that the whole manipulations through the charm has been nullified!

I seriously need input if people who are spiritually tested to know what really happened!

Till date, I can still fathom this happening!

If we were to allude to the metaphysical nature you imply it might not be related to you at all.

Here are some possibilities.
1) it's a charm against trespassers😁
2) it's a charm used by someone else with spiritual implications not revolving around you.
3) it's a charm that seeks for a target😁, that only shows its presence when the target is near😅
4) God gave you a victory, using "falling" as its depiction🙃
5) it's a prank😅, although unlikely in this clime of ours😉
6) it's an expired charm that has reached its day of expiry🤕.
There are other options they will just be troublesome to elucidate😊.

Superstition jam superstition. Some superstitious sap hung or positioned a charm to ward off intruders then superstitious you who didn’t notice how it was positioned, comes along. Both of you will go on promoting your superstitious nonsense because of a simple coincidence.

I put 'charms' around my farm because it scares off thieves. My favourite is a simple white piece of cloth dipped in palm oil tied around chicken bones and tied to a tree. People like you see it and believe the power will overpower them. It worked even much better when a person who stole my cows fell ill. His family came to beg when his child fell ill too. He died a few days after the father died. The only sad thing now is I'm known for killing father and child, when the truth is he likely died of tramadol overuse and his child died of malnutrition.

It really hurt because I used to feed that child to nourish it. The mother sold bread, and would let her son demolish a huge loaf of bread she hadn't sold so the father would have to pay for it. We were making progress too. Its 2 year old legs had strengthened and it had begun to walk. It couldn't talk properly yet, but could rhyme the alphabet song, both the Yoruba and English ones, and could hum 1 2 3 up to ten.

Guess they saved me having to sponsor its future education, which I'd have gladly done. My eyes still wet up when I remember little Jamiu whom they wasted due to their ignorance.

Maybe one of the kids harvesting fruit may have, in fact, thrown the object, only for it to mistakenly hit close to you? Did you stop to ask the kids on your way back from pooping in the bushes?

Yes I’m assuming you have a conscience because that’s a basic human characteristic. That’s why you’re considered evolutionarily above the apes and the lizards. That’s also why people who haven’t developed a conscience are characterized as mentally deficient ( sociopathy or psychopathy). It’s human normal to have a conscience.

In the not so common circumstance that you don’t have a conscience and can’t be trusted to do right just for the sake of goodness, We throw you in jail so you don’t further harm people.

We already anticipated that not everyone will be mentally at the level they need to be. So, You’re not coming across as very special here if that’s what you’re attempting to do. I don’t mean to be harsh. But we will put you in jail if you can’t determine what’s good or bad on your own. unless you’re told by holy book.
