You forgot that the vagabond burnt down the Assembly, now he will be impeached in a beer parlour and his security will be withdrawn by the IG. If he tries nonsense, he will be immediately arrested by EFCC and charged for embezzlement. Let all his boys in the creeks start blowing up oil pipelines and destroying their environment, Tinubu has made alternative money source.
I'm curious to know the alternative money source.

Only fools and stupid fellows will consider Fubara a man of peace. A man who was grandstanding some weeks back that they have passed the stage negotiating or even considering the relationship with the 27 Lawmakers but now eating the humble pie just because Supreme court judgement does not favor him can only be a man of peace in the mind of Ugochinyere and his family and those who are so foolish to believe that Buhari was cloned with a man Jibrin from Sudan. A man that went to demolish the state house of assembly for fear of impeachment can only be seen as a man of peace in the dude brain of the most foolish and stupid people on earth. A man of peace my foot!

This is war and winner takes all. If the seats of the 27 lawmakers had been declared vacant would Fubara show any sympathy?

He lost the battle, he should face the consequences..no mercy!

The Supreme Court on Friday, April 14, ordered an Ondo State lawmaker, Ifedayo Abegunde, representing Akure South/North Federal Constituency, to vacate his seat following his defection from Labour Party (LP) to the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

A Seven-man panel of Justices of the court, headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, declared that Abegunde is not fit to remain at the legislative house, noting that the lawmaker acted illegally by abandoning the party that sponsored his election.

It said that the lawmaker’s defection to another party would have been justified if there was a division in the national structures of the LP, such that is capable of impeding the smooth operation of the party.

The Supreme Court stated that the “division” or “factionalisation” of Labour Party, which was cited by the lawmaker as his excuse for abandoning the party, was only at the state level.

Abegunde was elected into the parliament on the platform of the ruling Labour Party (LP) in the April 2011 general elections, but defected to the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) after a few months in the House.

Labour Party subsequently began a recall process against him and approached the court to sack the decampee lawmaker in order for the party to reclaim his seat.

The lawmaker also filed a counter motion seeking judicial protection against his recall by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
Stop deceiving Fubara. Defection is not done with just words and video. If a lawmaker makes attempt to defect their party tries to discourage them from doing so. Party only go to court if they fail to rescind their decisions. PDP is not in court to declare their seats vacant. The law says only the speaker can do so. These lawmakers are still with PDP. Why are you guys especially if Ipobidients extracts bent on destroying Fubara you never voted for?

I read last week that the deputy governor is being investigated for age falsification by the Amawhuele led legislators, this is a grand conspiracy theory and plans to impeach the deputy governor before finally impeach the governor himself where by paving the way for The speaker Amawhuele to become the governor as the number 3 citizen of rivers, this film will be very long, funbara has a very slim chance of victory in this saga, let’s watch the rivers no be Lagos slogans and see where the pendulum will swing.

The assembly members publicly tendered and announced their defections to apc it was not a rumour or conspiracy. Then halfway backed out and returned back without notifying the public same way. That is not fubara's fault.

"Commissioner for Information and Communications, Joe Johnson, criticised the legislators’ rigid stance against compromise and their refusal to work towards moving the state forward."

Mr Commissioner, tell your principal to find a political solution...He is also not innocent. He withheld the entitlement of these guys for months...is it easyhuh They are also in politics for their very own selfish interests..and that interest was blocked by the Governor.

So, it's time for yh Governor to find a political solution...beg them, if necessary. These ones dey carry palm oil...don't let them stain the Governor. If na begging he go do..let him beg them

Anybody that wants to be blowing pipeline is creating more problems just like the burning of the House of Assembly. I believe there is no political issue that can not be politically resolved. The problem is usually the greed of individuals involved in the process. There will always be supporters of both parties but they should remember history will not be kind to either of them if they keep taking actions that will detrimental to rivers state and Nigeria.

They played smart on the governor and he fell for their leg over. When he get to court, he couldn't proof their registration with another party.
