It all depends on the type of visa the infant is applying for. What visa type?

Go with your passport that has your visa. They need to be sure you have your own visa before your child will be eligible.

Please how long does it take to get passport at OIS after visa issuance? My application was placed under 221g but I was asked to submit my passport at OIS which I did on 3rd march, visa approved on 12th march and issued on 13th march. But I need to know know when it will be with OIS Abuja and or DHL Abuja.

You cannot convert when you are there. Apply for the specific visa you need. 3-6months holiday is actually too long. You might have issues during renewal. So plan carefully.

Have you tracked your passport on the oisservice website, if not, do that and wait till it says ready for pick up, they might not send you a pick up mail so it’s best to track it.

I paid for my MRV on the previous platform and I'm trying to reschedule. I have a pending application request but anytime I click on it to continue, the entire Avits page loads without progressing and freezes the page and I can't do anything. I want to delete the pending application but there's no way to that without clicking on the pending application which freezes the page.

I have tried to reach customer services but there's no option to chat or to speak to an agent.

I am new to US visa applications. My dad got a refusal and I want to help him reapply as I believe the agent he used made so many errors in his last application. Do I fill out a new DS-160 form? if yes how do I link it to his Avits account to book an appointment, please?

Also can I pay for the application from the UK? or it has to be paid in naira at the bank only?

Any other pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Did not get my passport back. They first called me and the sent an email (content below). Immediately after. I was asked to come in with a means of identification because they were with the passport.

Content:
‘You have been scheduled for a follow up interview on March 13th, 2025, at 1pm.

Please arrive at the United States Consulate General in Lagos at least 30 minutes before your appointment to facilitate security screening. You are required to bring a copy of this email and an ID card for your appointment.
