This is a sad and unfortunate turn of event. The constitutionality of the suspension of the governor is also questionable as the constitution doesn’t provide for the appointment of an administrator even in emergency situations. Again, declaration of emergency rule requires the approval of 2/3 of the National Assembly.

Whatever the case, it is my hope that constitutional order will be restored to Rivers State as soon as possible.

They thought Fubara would've delayed in accepting the supreme court judgement that was why the Assembly gave him the 48 hours ultimatum. When they realized that plan failed, the assembly adjourned indefinitely and they paid boys to blow up pipelines so they can blame Fubara.
It's a well written script. I just wonder the kind of incriminating documents of Tinubu that are in Wike's possession that would make Tinubu play Wike's cards like this.
