zelnababa:The president's illegality of removing democratic elected officials without following stipulated steps in the constitution can not stand, that's what South African president was doing until Trump got a wind of it and he is currently receiving from all angles from Trump |

Obi wan trend ![]() Obi now talks like a PDP member. It is unfortunate that it has come to this but the winner from the state of emergency is Governor Fubara 1. Without SoE Fubara will be impeached and that will lead to open warfare in Rivers State. His impeachment will likely not happen and he should complete his first term. 2. The main losers are the Rivers State house of assembly that have not been paid for months and would now not be able to seat. They still have their defection case going to the Supreme court where they may actually loose. 3. For now Wike is not loosing or winning.....he has lost his power through the house of assembly. Tinubu suspended the house of assembly to tame Wike. 4. Fubara must settle this politically. Use the next 6 months to settle this out of court |

Obiedun:Everything for you i.diots is tribal. The nation is about to be set ablaze by yet another knee-jerk response and all you see is tribe. You forgot that your tribe will be at the receiving end of any backlash that such an unconstitutional decision will bring about. Tinubu has just about 2 years remaining, all things being equal. Bunch of kids |

IgOga:On point number 3, if their defection case gets to the SC, they will never lose considering the hint that the SC has given concerning the matter in the final judgement a while ago. Aside the SC, common sense should determine whether their names exists in the register of the party they have purported to have moved to Point no 4, like you said , nothing other than a political solution will solve the logjam. The only thing Sim seems to hate but will have to save him is " stoop to conquer" |

It is still worrisome how everyone all of a sudden started talking over the situation. I kept asking if anyone has the interest of the country at heart. If the president's declaration was wrong, how come no one talked about the situation in Rivers? It means everyone was interested in the whole thing becoming violent and then, still blame the president for it. A Governor of the state who has been making declarations and taking actions unconstitutionally wasn't attacked about every illegalities from him. Wike on the other hand who has been making all sorts of talk too but no one came out to speak of the wrongs from him. When this same president got involved in the matter for peace to reign in Rivers, I remember some lawyer still blaming the president for trying to ensure peace reigns in the state I just wonder why we are like this as a people and a nation. |

Grit2943:..if Tinubu does not remove the governor and 27 law makers..the situation in rivers state will go worse..the militants have started to blow up oil pipelines.. because the 27 law makers want to impeach the governor...so for peace to reign and to prevent and stop the many of the oil pipelines from been blown up by the militants..he had to remove or sispnd the governor and the 27 law makers that are causing the problems and do not want to comply with the supreme court judgement inorder for the problems to be solved |

Somehow, I like what Tinubu did right here... It's good to have used someone as a scape-goat to make other governors sit-up and not relax on their duties. Most of these elected personells can be very lacadesical when it comes to making sure that the masses are in good living state. |

Now u hv spoken. Unlike the empty rhetorics u reeled out yesterday. We must be bold to call a spade a spade. When something is terrible, we need to have the balls to say it is terrible just like the young corper did. It's better not to write anything at all than to write a body of words full of empty messages. Mr President, this is terrible. |

Bitter grievingory Obi is embittered, disgruntled and bereaved, so the president should fold his hands and do nothing when militants have started bombing oil installation as Fubara promised he will still order his boys when time comes.[/quote]Fubara is a political novice. Who blew up the pipeline? Nobody knows but his words implicated him. On March 3, 2025, Fubara urged the youths to remain strong and hinted that they would receive a signal when the time was right to take action |
