Chief, the issues happening in Rivers could degenerate into a state of anarchy. The House of Assembly were on the verged of impeaching the governor. If that had happened, it would have caused a major problem with militants taking over the state thereby escalating the problem. I believe the decision of the President will give room for Fubara, House of Assembly members and Wike to work together underground before the expiration of the suspension. My opinion. Or what's your assessment of the situation?

The situation now is complex, the militants will return, the economic hardship will more than double cos of the hit on the oil production and he can't defend himself to Nigerians going into 2027

Militants already blew up pipelines and they were ready to take over the state after the impeachment proceedings. I believe the President action has saved Fubara from impeachment, giving room for all stakeholders to learn the hard way and reconcile within the 6months period.
The president has intervened severally on this matter with the parties involved not showing sign of embracing peace. What would you have done??

He has a right to declare the SOE no doubt under any pretext as fit in the çonstitution no one questions that
The problem is the over reach of ordering to suspend the gov
The constitution doesn't give such powers to him
The gov is to remain even if his powers be reduced and work together with the armed forces as deployed until situation calms
But to suspend...it is clearly unconstitutional
GEJ did same in the heat of boko Haram in over 3 states without suspending gov or HoA not even LG chairman was suspended
